I actually agree with this. The idea behind the UN is itself good, an organisation meant to promote peace and cooperation as well as a forum where nations can sort out their differences through diplomacy rather than military force, but as it stands requires serious reform as it is currently dominated by the Permanent UNSC members. If we can shift power and authority away from them and give more authority to smaller nations, then I believe the UN could actually be a force for good.

5 nations who fund the UN and who’s economy and influence is far greater than others. Never in the history of the world have we achieved a global organization of this scale. The UN was born out of the aftermath of the Second World War and it’s horrific destruction and devastation. The world is a better, safer place with the UN in existence than having never been formed. Perhaps the nations of the world can all strive to improve their own homes a bit more before we restructure the UN.
