Very true!! I explained to the school and the principal. Prior years. Last week was my child's parents teacher conference. The staff and teachers are grateful for my child. Due to how I educated and raised my child. Very respectful, helpful, caring, kind, intelligent, and smart!! I guided my child to start reading college text books at the age of 8 years old. And yet surpasses learning in school, and knowledge of teachers.

I am Cherokee on my mom's side and Scottish on my daddy's side. My mom's ppl are from South Carolina and daddy's ppl are from Alabama. I am from Atlanta, GA. Cherokee means Mountain People/ Highlanders same as the High land Scotts from Old 🌎. I know who I am in this world and in Christ. When anything is over analyzed (academia!!) the soul of it becomes sanitized. Blood is not enough; there must be a marriage of the heart and of the mind! There must BE...love.

The United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples is an imperative document. The United Nations Declarations on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples has 46 different articles under it. I definitely want to get a copy of it and study it up. It is important to know our rights as a Indigenous people. I know that in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights you have article 25 section 1 which is our right to claim a nationality and you also have the Universal Declaration of Human Rights article 15 section 2 which is, "Nobody shall arbitrary deprived their nationality or be denied the right to change their nationality. It is very important to know the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples is definitely very important for us to know. We also have the Universal Declaration of Human Rights article 18 which is our religious freedom and to practice different religions and beliefs as well as worship.

R.I.P. Seqouyah Guess. The Cherokee Nation is what is on all the Treaties. The Cherokee Nation became the term used on all the treaties including the treaty of 1817 for lands in present n.Arkansas and they never agreed to go to the "Indian Territory. The delegation who went to Washington in 1825&1828 went with written instructions to endeavor the U.S.to run the Western boundary away from what became the OK.indian Territory. The treaty of 1828 for lands in what is called the Indian Territory was never agreed to.Those who followed John Jolly did so against tribal laws. S.G. says that Alexander Cummings chose the door opener...Chief Ostanaco was the War or Red Chief on all the recorded meetings of the 1760,70&80's.Standing Turkey was the Principal Chief. This is all recorded on the Nation to Nation records between Great Britain and the Cherokee Nation.with all due respect to S.G.this is false information.

My sister's and I have been trying to dig up our history of our grandmother's. We'd been told by our grnadmother that her mothers mother was on the trial of tears, she had the name of the "bird woman", our grandmother left Oklahoma with her mom as a child and came up to Tacoma Washington, which is where our Mother was then born. We're mostly all still up here in the NW but one of my sisters and myself, have been interested in moving back down to Oklahoma to reconnect with our people. My grandmother is on the rolls, and our great grandmother is as well, but that is an area in our family not discussed, pur nother has always focused on our grandfather's side and his French culture. We were not even aware about our grandmothers blood until our step dad had mentioned it to specifically me when i was in grade school 3rd grade ironically interested in doing a school report on cherrokke tribe. Not knowing I had cherrokkee blood. When I did that report my step dad, was so amazing and so helpful and encouraging to learn more about our grandmother's history. Regardless of my Mother not being very thrilled about me identifying myself as Native American, she didnt like that. I believe it had been something supressed within my grandmother, with how our great grandmother probably was raised and the negatives shed experienced because she was cherrokkee from the reservation down there. Oir grandmother, Thelma Raymond, was fair skinned, so it hadnt ever been questioned until we started seeing old photos of our great grandmother, then it was obvious we had either black blood or native American, she had long long blue black hair, thick, and dark brown eyes, tall, and very dark skin, she was the full blood. We looked up our grandmother on the rolls, found her, found our great grandmother and her husband who shed married while in Oklahoma. But we didnt keep the info, and its been lost again, Mae Long, i belive her married name was, not sure what her maiden last name was though which makes it hard to locate on Rolls again. Our step dad had helped us find all yhe information when we had first looked it up. And now 30 years later, we have no idea where to start back up our research. Without him here anymore and no one in the family who can really help guide us, its extremely frustrating. We do have our grandmothers original birth certificate, which is cool, but also, our Mom who has it, refuses to let it go, ide told her that in order for us to register with the Cherokee nation, wed have to send the original bc, and she isnt having that at all, she barley will let us look at it. Back when we did find all the information were now looking for again, we weren't aware or educated about what it was to register with the tribe or why it'd be helpful to us and our families. We didn't have our own children yet, asking about they're ancestors, we all do now, and we want them to know and not be like how our grandmother and Mom were with us about our cherrokkee blood. My step dad was who found the information about the bird woman story, I'm not sure about details or if that's totally true or fact, but my Step father was not one to feed us false information he was a very honest honorable man, so I don't think it's untrue. He found the information somewhere and I'm glad he told us about it because I feel that info might help us find the maiden last name of our Great Grandmother. I am hoping someone within the cherrokkee nation has knowledge of this woman, who was called the bird woman and can tell what her name was. Does anyone know?

I have a lot of Empathy for this guy and his people, if only Native Americans knew that Europeans got plagued by the same thing in history that they did and that’s Judeo-Christianity, if Judeo-Christianity didn’t invade Europe from the Middle East and forcibly change the culture and religion of the indigenous people as well as kill off many European Pagans that didn’t convert to their religion, the atrocities done to the Native Americans would have never happened, also a lot of the good qualities that came from Christianity came from European Paganism, sorry to offend any Christians but it’s just a fact and sometimes the truth hurts and the truth is many Europeans want their true sense of Sovereignty back just as much as Native Americans and because of this I hope that one day we can peacefully coexist.

@@ifloridawarriorcatfan9918 Of course only 5% were going to have Native American ancestors because the white man tampered with our census records so much they tried to make white people look like they had more people that have Native American ancestry. The only reason they would do that is to reclaim their power as the United States of America. Otherwise, they have no place of origin in America because only real Native Americans possess a DNA that will prove their land of origin or geographical status.
