wish you would talk about/identify native cool season ground covers and grasses to combat cool season invasive ground covers and grasses.

Great insight for those tough soils.

Thanks-so helpful! And happy to know what plants are pollinators since we’re losing an alarming amount of bees. I have LOTS of flame acanthus which volunteer themselves to about a half acre of our 3 acres. I live in Bastrop county and grow everything by seed or cuttings. Do you have a video on growing by seeds and cuttings? Or do you know where I can learn more? Thanks!

How different are the blackland prairies of Texas compared to the ones in Midwest

What a great question! It is the same prairie soil, as I understand. The temperature and amount of rain can change. Beautiful prairie designer, Kelly Norris, author of New Naturalism, has a gorgeous front yard Blackland Prairie in Iowa. We grow a lot of the same plants, but bloom times and dormancy may differ.
