This is great. I do kick drum synthesis with my students (using just basic subtractive synthesis) all the time and I can show the more ambitious ones this to whet their appetite!

and I get that a lot of people cant afford a real 909, but unprocessed samples are better than a digital clone, unless you want to adjust more than the original 909's parameters

nice that you build the digital kick as the 909 was designed, but you will never get a 909 kick from anything digital as it lacks the warmth of the original, even the analog clones don't quite get it.
