We have been sat at RAF Lakenheath for the last 3 days and it's been absolutely buzzing! I've never seen an F35A before, now I've seen 50-ish! Not to mention the 2 Aerojets, 12 F16s, a Vampire and a shed load of F15s to boot! Loved it! Going to RAF Mildenhall next time though, off to see the big birds doing their thing.... 😊

I live in Lincs & I wondered why they seemed to be more aircraft flying around. Now I know😊 It’s only recently that the AWAC aircraft at Waddington stopped flying. The times I’ve driven down the A15 & stopped at those lights waiting for one to land.

Yeah Exercise Cobra Warrior keeps Waddington on it's toes a lot! The AWACS was an icon of the base and it does look odd without the RAF ones there; so the NATO ones fit.

Looks like it’s going to be a hard choice of which bases to visit Lakenheath looks good for F35’s Mildenhall for F16’s only heard of the Canadian F18’s to Waddington, thanks for sharing 👍

I couldn't believe the crowds at Lakenheath yesterday to watch the arrivals. I now realise I saw you filming late afternoon from the trailer in Johns field. If I had known who it was I would have said hello. I presume you also got film of the US Marine Corps Osprey but will use that in another video? Did you also get to film the rare RC-135U arriving at Mildenhall earlier in the day?

The reason why there is so much military aircraft flying around is so that they can protect our country and keep us safe. They do a fantastic job. God bless them😊😊😊
@hb1338 Жыл бұрын
In this specific case, they are not keeping us safe - they will be practising manoeuvres which are designed either to keep us safe or to allow our pilots to attack the enemy.

Are the f35’s at Milldenhall or lakenheath?
@Pesmog Жыл бұрын
They are at Lakenheath. I guess it is so that they can share support with the 40 plus USAF F-35A's based there.

You can tell that those "birds" are from Spangdhalen by their tail designation of "SP." I was stationed at Ramstein AB and would see them at "my" base from time to time..... 🙂🙂🙂@@paulrobinson9355
