Thanks, Glenn. I'd appreciate an analysis of Norway's change of policy with respect to hosting nuclear weapons, and other pro-oligarchy military changes.

what are the "benefits" for putin to use nuclear weapons?

Hue said at least the Russians would go as martyrs.

They do not need to use nukes, they have hypersonics etc to engage well before then. They will use nukes only if NATO uses them or if there is another genuinely "existential" threat. A greater risk at the moment is that NATO/proxies will strike grounded nukes which are in position or the nuclear power station.

I wonder the same.

What do you think would happen if NATO discovered that Russia did not have a credible nuclear deterrence? Whether they want to use them or not, they have to make a credible threat. A threat can not be credible if it is obviously not genuine.

@@runehjelm9406 Russians have Hypersonic Attack Cruise Missiles, amongst nuclear weapons. Their technology is very high, they have great engineers, whereas the US have to import them (they only have economists and lawyers)
