There is a difference between Russian propaganda and the West propaganda. Western propaganda is more like an advertising. Just like Abrams tank is the best, or HIMARS is accurate. Russian propaganda is a mixture of silence, self depreciating, truth or consequence, and what they have already accomplished. You have to read their lips and find out if it is a threat or a promise. They are full of riddles. Just saying.

Russia possesses one of the largest nuclear arsenals in the world, with a diverse array of delivery systems, including intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs), submarine-launched ballistic missiles (SLBMs), and strategic bombers. Russia conducts military conflicts only on its border, aimed at protecting Russia's security. Russia has never attacked remote countries. Russia has never used nuclear weapons. At the same time, the United States is fighting a huge number of military conflicts far from its borders due to its strength and resources. The United States has killed hundreds of thousands of civilians in remote corners of the world. It was the United States that used nuclear weapons twice, but not for military purposes, but intentionally against the civilian population. It is unlikely that Russia will strike first. It doesn't make any sense. but the US aggression is quite obvious

I think Poseidon is a real weapon and it is almost certainly functional. A nuclear-powered torpedo with a conventional warhead or a nuclear one is feasible. Moreover, this is a defensive weapon. Russia's nuclear doctrine only allows the usage of nuclear weapons if the U.S. strikes first or if the existence of the Russian state is at stake. The United States' nuclear doctrine does, however, include the right to strike first... So, which country is the most dangerous ? Certainly not Russia as their nuclear weapons are strictly defensive weapons and can only be used in response.

Russia can actually claim they have an operational new generation tank that’s in service. One that won’t be used in a high intensity war like the war in Ukraine that requires vast quantities. The west doesn’t have an operational new generation tank. That’s just a fact.

Don’t be so glib! These are the facts: Russia is one of only 9 countries in the world that currently possess nuclear weapons. Of these, only FOUR possess a full nuclear triad, Russia being one of them. Russia also still has the largest nuclear arsenal in the world, although it has been aging. There are only 4 countries in the world that have voluntarily given up their nuclear weapons: South Africa, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Ukraine. The latter three did so reluctantly, under pressure from the Western powers, who were concerned about the possibility of their nuclear weapons falling into the wrong hands. The issue is NOT the sanity of the their use, but the sanity of the people who ultimately decide about these things in Russia. It’s always possible for a leader to make an irrational decision.

You're right. Russia got into the situation in which it is currently mired in Ukraine because it underestimated the Ukrainians. Of course, because of that, we learned an important lesson: that we had been overestimating Putin for the past decade. Copentent generals throughout the ages - going at least as far back and probably much further than Sun Tzu - knew that you don't want to underestimate *or* overestimate your opponents. Over a century and a half ago, McClellan failed largely because he overestimated his adversary. It's important to weigh all the evidence and be mindful of the fog of war. As was said, maybe 100 years ago seems to still be true today: "Russia is never as strong or as weak as it appears."

You are wrong. Russia has over 5,000 nuclear weapons that can be delivered by air, land, and see. Stop misinforming.

@@bio7377 According to a 1969 trial, a Soviet submarine was able to detect a U.S. nuclear submarine departing Guam, and then track it based on its wake until it surfaced close to that base. However, theoretical tracking can face challenges, such as distinguishing between the signal from gradient markers and the noise of currents and eddies. In calm conditions, a passive Russian sonar system might detect an American submarine within 1-5 kilometers. The US Navy has made its submarines more visible in recent years, including visits to North Atlantic ports. The UK's Royal Navy has also tracked the movements of Russian submarines into the North Sea. and Why do you have to insult them in their comments?

Maybe it's designed to take out Naval bases/under water internet communications cables landing basins./Deep-sea ports. Maybe they are attached and hidden underneath commercial shipping vessels?.

I had the most real dream of my life last night. I dreamt my family home in Ireland was ravaged. The village across the bay was burning and we were heading for Mt Kill in Lettermore the highest point. I kept saying to my family its coming from Trabane it will sweep all this up and as we set off I woke up sobbing. Now all day today all my feed is full of Poseidon. Im no prophet but 3 times in my life have I had vivid dreams and all times bad things happen for real within a month. I hope this missile is just a bluff and I can put all this behind me. I felt like Ireland had truly fallen. I had tears in my eyes when I woke up it felt so real.
