Ray came to Washington from his native Bronx in the early Sixties as an Army infantry/intelligence officer and then served as a CIA analyst for 27 years, from the administration of John F. Kennedy to that of George H. W. Bush. Ray’s duties included chairing National Intelligence Estimates and preparing the President’s Daily Brief, which he briefed one-on-one to President Ronald Reagan’s five most senior national security advisers from 1981 to 1985.

The Basic Principles of War Propaganda: 1. We don't want war, we are only defending ourselves! 2. Our adversary is solely responsible for this war! 3. Our adversary's leader is inherently evil and resembles the devil. 4. We are defending a noble cause, not our particular interests! 5. The enemy is purposefully committing atrocities; if we are making mistakes this happens without intention. 6. The enemy makes use of illegal weapons. 7. We suffer few losses, the enemy's losses are considerable. 8. Recognized intellectuals and artists support our cause. 9. Our cause is sacred. 10. Whoever casts doubt on our propaganda helps the enemy and is a traitor. - _Morelli_

@@VintageSoloHarmony Propaganda has a difficult time enduring the facts. Those who were viewing Eastern European events for the last 30 years saw the NATO Advance, taking the same basic direction as Hitler used to overcome Russian resistance in the 1940's. Hitler learned a lesson. The Children who slept through History Class appear to demonstrate their ignorance of the content of Ukraine citizens with Russian Heritage who continue to live inside the Kyiv controlled regions. The desire for Russian Resources appears to be driving a desperate Western desire for resources . The fact that Russia has resources and the West has been exploiting Colonial Empires for a long time, appears to be over. The Era of Colonial Exploitation that the UN has condemned, appears to point the Flying Finger of Fate , directly at NATO. The conflicts in the Russian regions as well as Taiwan are the remains of Coloniial Conquest attempting to cling to the past.......

Thank you I wrote this down, the word love is junk really, it depends on the person using it and their intention/ interpretation, can mean a million different things. ‘Hope “to me means you don’t really think it has a good chance of happening. Always illuminating to hear the wisdom and astute insights of the brilliant analyst, Ray McGovern! His interviews inspire us all that better times ahead are indeed possible if we apply some common sense and rationale to our actions rather than blindly accepting the misguided ideology currently motivating our policies. Whether those in power will ever accept this realization, sadly remains to be seen! Everything that Ray had to say in this podcast was on point and extremely accurate. He has a comprehensive depth of understanding of current affairs, that few others possess. Clearly those currently in charge in the West, are clueless as to the potentially catastrophic consequences their dangerous policies may set in motion. Tragically, there doesn’t currently exist a rational thinking adult among any of the West’s leaders! We may all pay a terrible price for this at some point. Thank you Nina for inviting Ray McGovern back as a guest , to your wonderful podcast. His responses to your thought provoking questions gives us all a much clearer picture as to what is going on in the world. You are doing an excellent job, keep up the good work!

Some years ago (quite a few, and it was after the fall of the Communists in that country) I was touring Slovenia, and joined a group exploring various historical monuments. Can't remember what the guide was describing, but in response a ordinary looking middle-aged woman muttered to her husband, "we should have killed more of them than we did", meaning the "home guard", (the Slovenian version of US patriots) who were opposed to communism and its rule. I was astonished at the hatred, and for what?

If they go to Odessa I expect them to link up with Transnistria due to proximity. I wonder, though, if they would consider pushing a corridor all the way to Hungary; this would make it harder for the EU to dominate Hungary and they would be more free to be a thorn in the EU's side, which benefits Russia. If they do this, I wonder if they then might push a corridor all the way North and along the Polish border to Belarus to surround what's left of Ukraine and thus control imports and exports. I'm sure they don't want to fight an insurgency against the bulk of ethnic Ukrainians but to merely surround them may be doable.

An excerpt : The action in Crocus would have needed to be practiced with the whole team on a training ground with conditions similar to those in a big concert hall. They could practice moving together and shooting, all of this under the heavy influence of, most likely, Captagon. The point is, when the real action is taking place, everything needs to run on muscle memory. There would be no thinking, no improvisation, just automatic mode. The question is, where was this training ground? I think this is the most important question and information that the FSB is now “toasting” out of these terrorists to find this training ground. ________ But before they started, they consumed a heavy dose of Captagon to be able to randomly kill scores of civilians, especially children. To suppress all feelings, fear, and stress. When the first footage came out of the captured “fried balls” guy, one could see him shaking. It was not only because of fear but mainly because of the withdrawal from the drugs in combination with fear and the ever-growing stress. The group walked down a prepared path to a place where they scouted the best possibility of starting a fire that would take down the hall as a distraction. These guys were far too inexperienced (dumb) to determine such a spot on their own. _________ However, these guys were heavily drugged, as already described. I think their mental and physical condition heavily deteriorated on their way down to Bryansk. One could only imagine what went through their sick minds during their journey. _________ Why did they surrender instead of killing themselves or die fighting? Because of the drugs, of course. I think they were so done with everything after 12 hours with the heaviest high-tech drugs, with what they had done, and driving with all of this for 5-6 hours and thinking of it. And, of course, no sleep. I think they were no longer able to rationally think or decide anything. If they were fully conscious, I think they would rather have killed themselves before the arrest. bmanalysis.substack.com/p/the-crocus-disaster

Not buying the drug theory. Why would they stop taking the drugs until the operation was over ? Or maybe switch over to tranquilizers to seem calm in an encounter with border guards ? The whole operation seems weirdly amateurish, only surpassed by the weird statements by Empire. Who on earth brings a phone to a terror attack and loses it on the scene just to top tings off ? It's dumb beyond belief.
