@francoisleung9330 France hasn't won a war on it's own since Napoleon was in power basically. And that's exactly what they would be getting themselves into if they press ahead with continued escalation in Ukraine. Even if a few other minor states like the U.K. or the Czech join in they still might as well be going at it alone because those countries barely have a functional military now. They'd require heavy American assistance to even remotely stand a chance and I'm doubtful that they'd get it at this stage.

And if Russia switched to a WARBASED economy, they could increase military production by at least a magnitude, again. This is Russia with a PEACETIME economy running it's NORMAL military production lines at high gear. Russia's only non-normal production line that have been started is that for T-80 tanks. Russia has NOT started up ANY of its emergency mobilisation production lines.

I'm Brazilian, from the Global South myself. The US set up a dictatorship through the CIA in 1964, something we now know from the US intelligence agency's own declassified documents all they've done: destabilization strategies, military support, etc. And democracy returned to Brazil in 1985. But we still face a dark past and see the US day after day as that guy who likes to bully and take advantage of others. In the G.W. era Bush era, we were offered the FTAA, an attempt at economic colonization through trade agreements, to give it some legitimacy. Last year, China signed agreements with Brazil, always opening the door to joint investments in technology, investments in infrastructure with fair contracts for both sides. And we're very supportive of Gazah and Rafah area...against Israel
