The watercolor set looks like those big eyeshadow make up gift sets you can find on Christmas, pretty but unusable. 😂

I've seen people use dollar store eyeshadow sets as watercolor, or other art supplies like chalk pastels. Or even to pick out the makeup and use as a palette. Fill the little wells with watercolor paint. I've seen people try dollar store makeup brush sets for watercolor brushes.

I have the chameleon set and the brush isn't that bad unlike the one that came with a pearlescent set from 5 and below

I would use the fountain and highlighter pens. The highlighter part i would use to study with, the pen part i would use to write with.

I think I'd want to try keeping the dual tip markers fine tip down for a while to see if the ink would flow better. The metallic paints might be nice to add accents to calligraphy.

Can you use watercolor paint in adult coloring books?

Would the water colors or the watercolor markers be fugitive? Those metallic colors look fun, but would they hold up over a couple years? The watercolors are faint and chalky; how long would the paints last? Would be good for most kids to play around with.

I'm a strong believer that art supply cost doesn't define the artist. You can make art from trash or found things. I've seen very mediocre artists using expensive art supplies. It's more a matter of the artist and potential education which can be very cheap or free. I disagree with your seemingly shaming of inexpensive art supplies, there is a lot of potential to them if you are creative and innovative.

But what if you cant afford the expensive watercolors then you have to use cheap ones. Im one of those people who cant afford expensive products.

Aren't all markers fugitive? I thought all, including alcohol markers, were fugitive.

Not ALL markers are fugitive, there are acrylic markers that are comparably permanent with their acrylic paint counterparts. A few companies have tried releasing watercolor markers that used actual pigments that promised lightfastness comparable to their student grade watercolor paint counterparts, although I have not done any lightfast testing on the markers to find out. And I believe POSCA's are less fugitive than alcohol markers, but that might be a matter of months vs a matter of weeks. All alcohol markers are going to be fugitive as are most waterbased (like Crayola) markers, as those use dyes.
