Tip for the dark marks, coming from an acne prone/ dark mark prone person, i use the st. ives blemish scrub to wash my face, tone with aloe vera gel, and moisturize with Raw African Shea Butter...seriously never had clear skin in my 23 years until i tried it this way...good luck :)

I just had to subscribe to your channel because you are funny and gave some good tips. Our hair texture is about the same and a lot of the tips you gave are the exact same things that I do and they work for me. The Cream of Nature Argon Oil brand DOES NOT work for me and it hurt my feelings sooo bad because I spent my hard earned coins hunni lol, but it's ok. I think I found the product for me!! I LOVE the African Pride leave in conditioner that comes in the big yellow and orange jar. My hair LOVES that stuff and the Nairobi Setting Lotion to set my curls and keep the frizz away! Love LOVE love!!! Anyways, thanks for the tips. I love your curls and I'll be watching for more videos!!

African black soap is perfect for discoloration in skin, takes about 3 weeks to see a big difference and once you wash your face with that apply a moisturizing light oil like coconut oil and those dark marks will fade dramatically... Thanks for the tips btw your gorgeous already girl !

Ahhh your curls are sooo nice! Wish mine would do that. I just started doing mine in the shower now. I section my hair, condition, detangle & then rinse the shower & apply whatever curl defining product while combing through it & it defines my curls so much better like you said, but when it fully dries it practically turns back into an afro and there's no running my fingers or comb through unless it's wet & it makes me sad sometimes.

Hey Kayla. I'm so glad you did this video. I'm trying to get my natural curl pattern back. I have been doing this since last summer. Thank you so much for these tips. My curls are tight so I just do protective styles. But I wanted to ask, are your curl tight and when you wash and brush it out, do it stretch? Because my curls are similar to you're just a lil when stretched out.

I went one year without straightening my hair. I had been transitioning for about a year which is why I cut out the heat. The last time I did straighten was around May and honestly, I wondered why I even did. My curls that grew in didn't have like, crazy damage but some was noticeable, but overall looked in good shape. After seeing the bit of damage (barely any) that happened, I don't even wanna look at a straightener anymore. Idek where mine is at the moment but I hope it stays there cuz I don't need you anymore cuz I cant wait to be natural ^-^

Do you have any advice on how to tell people to stop touching your hair? It's so annoying when I come to class with my hair all fixed up and some random person just comes up to me and runs their hands through my hair!
