For anyone interested, pumpkins are pretty easy to grow. The vines take space but are easy to grow up a fence, or trellis. I take some worn out aluminum ladders and use bamboo and ties to support them. They need full sun, and can be put in the ground anytime after nights are steadily above 50. My 3x8’ bed supported three vines, I got plenty for decoration, three different varieties. Really pretty Autumn ideas!

Mary, I also grew up in NE Ohio (Carrollton). I just love when you drive through the countryside so I get a glimpse of home. There's nothing prettier than the area you live in autumn. I disagree that you are 'unworthy' of receiving from a viewer. You provide plenty to others for free and it's perfectly okay to receive as well - and no, you are not hinting or requesting things. Lived in Wlmot, Brewster and Beach City most of my life and our favorite Sunday afternoon in the fall was to drive through "Amish Country " as slowly as possible enjoying the rich colors, fall flower gardens and the lovely decorated porches. Just lovely! I have a suggestion... with all of the lovely shots of your decor at the end of your decorating videos, why not make a photo book of your seasonal decor? There are so many photo book options these days, such as Shutterfly. I honestly think a White Cottage Company photo book would make a lovely coffee table book! I'd buy one! 😊

Thank you for sharing your unique way of decorating…I, too, use corn stalks to decorate the six front pillars of our home…I intersperse them with sunflowers and other fall-coloured foliage collected all year round from thrift shops..there is so much gratification from using leaves, cones, and berries from nature moreso than expensive trips to Hobby Lobby, Michaels and Target… making your home and landscape so warm and inviting…wishing you and your family blessings this Thanksgiving season..you make Wednesday mornings the highlight of my week !
