IT will work better if you apply it in layers. This allows the henna (and indigo when applying) to cover the gray. Start in an area, move on to another area, and then return prior areas (which will be slightly drier than before). This will "build-up" the henna or indigo to the gray hair. You will notice the gray hair will be more red (less gray) after applying the henna treatment. Been coloring my hair for over 15 years with this process.

@@chucky3285 Yes! You must be consistent. If you are preventing gray or reversing the process, what you eat is the key. Like leafy greens; etc. there’s a lot of foods that has nutrients that slows down the process of graying. Have fun researching which foods. Henna is one way if consistent it will cause the hair to become permanently colored. You only have to do it 4 to six months in the beginning then you do not have to use it that often. Not too bad whereas traditional hair dyes suck because not only is it drying and damaging to hair, you have to do it as often as 2 weeks to four weeks because it fades out that fast.

He stated that "10 days" is how long this all-natural hair dying solution lasted for him. He stated that this is a plant-based solution, which means that since it is all natural, allergies will not be a concern. If you purchase Henna / Indigo and it not all-natural / organic, then you are more likely to suffer an allergic reaction. ⛔️ Always read the label and reviews first. He also stated [at the start of the video] that he prefers his natural hair [both colors] but is coloring all black in this video exclusively to help those who have a different preference. It's always a great to watch a video in its entirety first, and then review the comment section to discover whether you have any [additional] questions that you would like to ask. Also, be kind. It takes a ton of courage to even post ....and kindness is FREE! 🥳 My thoughts on the video? This was a very informative and detailed video, and one I will be applying soon. Thank you to the creator of the video! 🎉

Correction: You can be allergic to anything, just because it's "natural" doesn't mean it's non-allergic. Example, I am extremely allergic to a form of henna called henna cholora, it stops my breathing. You should always skin test yourself when using anything you are putting in or on your body.
@fluidembrace2 жыл бұрын
@@dspirit444 Hi there! I'm just seeing your comment but thanks for replying! Henna cholora is an imitation form of henna and not at all natural... so this explains why you (and many others) are likely to have an allergic reaction. Try using all natural / 100% organic products and that won't be an issue! ☺️ All the best! 🤎🤎🤎

I suggest that instead of water, you may use the decoction of tea powder. Leave the paste for 15 minutes before you apply. And, keep the application on your head for atleast 2 hours. Viola! Your hair will turn into dark brown black. Thereafter, you don't need to apply any other color. Try and let me know.

Gee, this was a great video & presentation of method! Thank you! I am a woman & wanting to keep dyeing my crown of head & forehead line greys but preferably no more chemical dyes after years of use! I tried henna many years ago & thought it a really messy ineffective way of dyeing my hair. Yuk! Made my greys stand out orange red! But l never heard about indigo application afterwards! Wow! Game changer! Is there any way to colour one’s hair dark brown with natural products? And how long does the black look last before one has to redo? Salt & pepper/ all black…both look great on you! Good job, well done…all 5 hours you went through to show a fabulous result! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

My uncle uses a 5 minute dye from Walmart 😂😂😂 it works well and looks like his real hair color. He’s 53 and people think he’s in his early 30s , I wondered why his hair is still black at his age until I went to Walmart with him 😂😂

Good information you had provided to your followers, And I would like to add some more information as I am using Henna for 10 years as a Conditioner and a Dye for my hair.. When mixing Henna with water add egg white, one coffee teaspoons and a two spoon of Olive or Mustard oil in henna paste.. Mix all throughly.. Leave it overnight.. Then apply, egg white and oil conditions hair very well with smooth texture and shine.. In India & Pakistan Henna is a common thing used as a Cosmetic for hair and making temporary hands tattoos..

Hi indigo begins to work right away so you shouldn't leave it sit out at all just use it right away no waiting and I use the henna right afterwards. I don't let the henna sit out I just mix it and use it. I leave henna in for 40 min and the indigo a half an hour and my beard goes black. Try it out it's faster!

@@neutron7077 you can use leftover henna if you save it in the fridge for a week however you can't save indigo because it's reaction happens right away. It won't work twice.
