I've been doing this a few weeks now because of traveling and I ended up making my own sponge. I love how it twists my hair!

I like your phrasing. it's very descriptive and gets right to the point. using the word nappy afro does not offend me at all. I really enjoyed looking at the video and a lovely finished look. I don't even have loose natural hair but I still like watching the videos! I I really admire how beautiful and diverse loose natural hair can be.

I was debating on whether to use my KCKT and KCCC this morning but this convinced me, lol. What percentage of KCKT and water did you put in the bottle? Also, with this product combo I get better results with air-drying; it seems when I use the diffuser it dries sticky and I lose some of the definition. Any tips?
@BeautyCutright9 жыл бұрын
hey sorry for the delayed reaponse. you may have to not use the diffuser if that is what's giving you better results. as for how much KCKT I mix more water that KCKT I don't really measure or anything, I just do what I feel =)

HELLPPPP what am I doing wrong. I'm trying to coil my hair with a comb or my fingers and my coils are not tight at all. So, here is my routine in hopes you can help me identify what steps I need to add or omit. From dry hair I add my products. Design Essential Natural Line. Curl defining pudding, curl defining mousse and a spray bottle with water. Step 1 add the pudding and then spray some water Step 2 wide tooth comb and comb hair from root to end Step 3 attempt to coil with comb My coils are not tight. Therefore my coils suck!!!! I'm completely natural with a short tapered cut, I watched the KZbin tutorials and I'm just not getting the results I want. I need to learn techniques to define my curl pattern and finger coil or my life will suck.

I know you may not have meant it like this, but it's still offensive how you said how to go from tightly coiled hair as a nappy Afro and coily/curly hair as a coily fro. Almost as if you were saying how to go from ugly hair to beautiful hair. I know that's not what you meant, but that's how it can come across, especially to people with a "nappy Afro" as you put it. You should be more selective with how you phrase things.
@charisw9087 жыл бұрын
but see the thing is tho some people such as myself are not offended by the word nappy and I have no issue in referring to my beautiful head of hair in afro state or not as nappy. I love that word and embrace it. So it all just depends on who's listening. Sure of course she doesn't want to offend and I'm certain that was not her intent but she also has freedom of speech on her channel.

Josh George You're being a bit sensitive. We all understand her context so why make it into something it isn't?
@deannamitchell22417 жыл бұрын
Josh George you seem offended by the word nappy.. Not many of us are.
@ru1n7846 жыл бұрын
Shut the fuck up, that shit was nappy. How does using nappy and curly hair mean beautiful or ugly? Your mostly speaking for a small group of people.
@peepla76 жыл бұрын
She was referring to her own texture....and there is nothing wrong with curly hair having some nap to it. Nappy is not negative. It's factual....and it's strong. This simply shows styling options.
