I think your DIYs are way better and more effective than the store bought products. I’ve grown my hair to extreme length with DIYs. Something I could never achieve with store bought products. I’m so happy to see you back on KZbin! 🥰😘

You may want to continue only using your natural products, which I have tried and loved, because you can taylor them to your needs. You are very knowledgeable in that area of natural products. If it isn't broken, don't fix it.

You’re right. This video was filmed in October 2023. As I said in my previous video, some of my subscribers suggested me to try more store bought products so it was just a « testing phase » during that time but now I’m back to my natural DIY products. 🤗

Better you than me. I detangle my hair with leave-in detangler, leave-in cream conditioner, and 20 sectioning clips weekly with Netflix, snacks, and drinks. It's a hair party. the only way I do not rip my hair out and it makes getting through tangles easier....when I don't have time I do what you did...wash on Friday. Deep conditioned on Saturday and Detangle on Sunday. Lol! My hair is not bothered by what brand it is....as long as the ingredients are not full of silicone, oils and butters. I need a conditioning agent, a humectant and something sliperry alone with water. My hair responds best to this applied daily. Silicone, Oils and butters can go on my ends once a week not daily.

Thank you for your feedback ! When I have the time I do everything in one day (or detangling + oil treatment the day before washing and conditioning) but it doesn’t have to be that way. I love to listen to audiobooks, podcasts or watch KZbin videos at the same time I take care of my hair. It’s really fun!

This happens to me with some store bought products. I don't quite know exactly what is causing my hair to get so matted and tangled. I have finally found a shampoo, conditioner, and treatment that does not do this to my hair. Took a long time. Shea moisture brand is especially problematic for me. When this happens, I don't leave it in. I wash it out with shampoo and conditioner to moisturize your hair so you can detangle. Then use a conditioner that you are familiar with to add back moisture. I now test things on a strand of hair to see what the results will be.

it's best to get under running water and it shoud be much easier to tangle. Thanks for sharing,
@UnivHairSoleil33 ай бұрын
Yes that’s true !
@majormediaproductions4 күн бұрын
Your hair was very tangled because the shea moisture line that you used, is a PROTEIN line. You used protein shampoo, and protein mask also. Anytime you use a hair product that is high in protein you must use a highly moisture product right after. Following up with a hydrating mask after that shampoo would've been better. Also your hair was squeeky clean because of the apple cider vinegar in those products. Your hair is beautiful regardless. And Im new here ❤

Detangling under running water with a detangling brush makes detangling really quick but not too harsh

I need to try using brushes on my hair to see how it would react. I always prefer finger detangling.

That particular Shea Moisture mask benefits from additional water to help it spread around. Don't worry about dilution, it's more than thick enough to do withstand a bit of water.

Thank you for your compliment and feedback ! 🤗 I found it weird that the mask could not help with detangling but maybe it was not its purpose. I was also expecting it to leave my hair nourished but it was still « squeaky clean ». Something that I found strange as well.

3 years from above bra strap length to tailbone length and my hair was trimmed at the hair salon during these 3 years so I could have reached my goal sooner.
