I still use a couple of products that was actually designed for Caucasian hair, but my hair likes it. Hair is just hair at the end of the day. If it works, it works.

I can so relate to what you're saying. My hair is the same way. I would try a new product and my hair would be like ohhhh ahhh so I'd think I found the right product then next couples uses my hair hates it. In particular the shea moisture line. I give up on that brand lol... I think I found the right products now tho 😉

Love your videos! I would like to mention that the Shea Moisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil shampoo is a CLARIFYING shampoo and many people can’t use it but a couple of times of month. That’s probably why your hair felt so good because, if you haven’t used a clarifier to remove old product, your hair can kind of “breath” again. Just wanted to point that out so there’s would know just in case they would like to try the product.

Enjoyed this video. Love your hair. Can you do a demonstration on how you moisturize your hair? The application on how much shea butter you apply on your hair?

Same . After 6 years build up is a pain. I'm trying going without my lovely Shea butter . Also trying lighter products in my hair combine with less cowashing more shampoo wash days . Your hair is beautiful.

I want to know more about your rice water use, I'm currently confused, earlier I use it every 3-4 days for like 20min and rinse it off then moisturize (literally I put water in my hair every 3-4 days)and now I want to apply it and leave it in and at the same time I don't want protein overload, there is a lot going on in my mind, SOS!

I stopped using rice water a long time ago. I experienced protein overload and had to stop.

What's your hair type
@ObaaYaaJones

Honestly, I don't really like to put my hair in the Hair typing category. I'd say I'm type 4 and I have a mixture of all types of 4 represented on my head.

I do have fine hair and one would classify my crown as 4c, but I don't really go by that. All I know is, that my hair is kinky coily😅❤

Obaa Yaa Jones thanks. I happen to watch the video you posted about hair typing after I posted my comment lol. Sorry. I realize that you’re not into that. The only reason I ever ask is to see what techniques and style that could work for my hair. Based on my experience, type three and some type 4a styles/techniques don’t work for me. Thanks so much for responding.
