It is an awesome one of a kind guide for getting rid of constipation without the headache. Ive heard some decent things about it and my good mate called Gray at last got great results with it.

I don’t have a juicer, but have rediscovered the miracle of beets lately. They’ve been a neglected vegetable in my life over the years. I love my instant pot to cook them quickly before adding them to my sheet pan of assorted roasted veggies. They do work wonders in our bodies for sure.

Another good trick for the beets is to make sure you juice the shoots. My chef friend let me know that the shoots are actually the part that aid best in going to the restroom.

Great video. Loved the reference to soluble fibre and your comment about the two types of fibre. My go to juice is 1 kg carrots, bunch of beets, a large cucumber, 2 limes and 2 inch piece of ginger. Typically makes 1 to 1.5L of veg juice. It’s a bit of a cure all for me and I try to drink this daily. For me it’s reduced inflammation generally and made my body more alkaline. Bowl movements are soft and regular since doing this, my skin has improved and I’ve even been accused of dying my hair as it changed colour and is shiny and soft😂.

@@bybyc99 preferably but not always, it just depends on the day. I would say that around 500ml is a maintenance day and 1.5l is a healing day. If you read Norman Walker he drank around 8 pints of carrot juice a day to heal himself and the rest is history if you’re interested download his books.

@@alheadle if you want the best juice then Angel wins it. Anything after that is cheaper but a compromise. Go for an omega vertical juicer for that.

I struggle w constipation so much ..i wonder what i can do. these are soluable fiber veges if i was not sensitive to the sugar levels in them i would be doing it rite now :) i am so happy its moving your bowels Tim :)

Freeze juice in 1/2 pint jars. Easy to defrost and have your favorite juice mix. I freeze 14 - 1/2 pint jars at a time. I can not tell any loss of vitamins, drinking juice after frozen state. Saves dreadful juicer cleanings.

There maybe poisons in the ingredients of the medicine. Taurine helps make bile to help bowel movement. Eating a fat and then citrus may help. Chia seeds are good on any food. Orthobiotic probiotic may help before a meal and HCl and enzymes with meals. Gluten may lower the thyroid. Amour thyroid may help. Gluten is in wheat/barley/rye....oats/corn/rice. Rice is low in gluten. Wild rice has no gluten. It is a grass. Potassium maybe low. Hair test to see good minerals/heavy metals may help. Mg helps potassium get into cells. Zn/Se/enough iron/probiotic may help the thyroid hormone convert to active form T3. Dairy/soy/sugar/GMO may also hurt. God bless!

When you said spinach has magnesium, I remembered reading that laxatives use magnesium, because it relaxes the colon. I am wondering if that helps IBS, but I am certainly no expert. Sometimes I use natural wholefood magnesium mixed with water because it is anti stress and relaxes the muscles (which include colon), but I am going to try your recipes, especially the juicing with spinach one 😊

The magnesium laxatives work because they dont get absorbed by ur colon. So the magnesium salts stay in ur colon where they excert osmotic pressure thus water either flows from your blood into the colon or the water u drank stays in the colon and u get the laxative effect. Prune juice works similarly but instead of magnesium there is sorbitol a sugar alcohol. The colon can only absorb a limited amount of it and prunes contain alot thus the remaining sorbitol acts just like the magnesium in terms of laxatives. The problem is that sorbitol is consumed by your microbiom in the colon and these bacteria produce gases and short fatty acids which can irritate ur bowls and cause bloating.

@@mrcross2774 Whatever Nature's 'Bounty sells. Back says Magnesium Oxide, 500mgs. But this is just what they sell at Shroprite,. I am not recommending it to anyone, especially to someone with digestion problems. I don't take it every day, just at night when I can't sleep. It does seem to help after I eat cheese, bc for me, cheese is very binding. However, one or two regular everyday prunes work much better. I have no food allergies as far as I know, but when I need to get over eating a few slices of pizza, which I will NOT give up! Or cheese in a roastbeef/lettuce/tomato sub topped with American cheese, a few prunes work best. I mostly take 1 500mg of Magnesium if I really am having trouble sleeping. However, this works for ME, not telling others which may not work well for THEM. Not giving up those once every 2 weeks RB subs either!

My magic juice to relieve constipation is prune juice, which is widely available in UK stores. But it must be consumed warm to have a really quick effect. Pour about 200ml of prune juice in a glass and put it in a microwave for about 15 seconds. The juice doesn't need to be hot, just warm. I have to admit that, for me, it tastes disgusting, but it's a foolproof way of shifting stubborn poop in an hour. If in your country you can't find prune juice, look instead for damson juice or dried plums.

Brilliant, thanks so much! I do juicing a lot and am doing a juice only diet up to 7 days at a time for weight loss.. but often have trouble with constipation. I mostly lose around 1 lb per day on the juice only (and water) diet but am trying to fine tune it for maximum results. Occasionally I’ve lost up to 2.6 lbs in a 24 hour period depending on how much I exercise as well etc. So far I’ve lost 26.6 lbs and it won’t be long till I’m at my ideal weight.

I just made the first recipe, it's Strong ( with the mint and ginger taste) and Sweet ( with the orange taste). Thanks for sharing. Update: i had bowel movement about 4 hours later. I already had 1 bowel movement early in the morning before I took this laxative juice which was in the late afternoon around 15:20 pm.
