Everything is very very very nice, colours, model, bokeh, instructions... one thing that amazes me is how sharp is the sharp part at f/ 1.2 and how dreamy it is before/after the focal plane. The difference and the way you work at the right distances is mind boggling. I need to get some more of that into my photography. I have nothing faster than f/1.8 though. Tnx for sharing and carry on the great work.

You can still get great bokeh at 1.8, it all about the distance of your subjects and the background and knowledge of what produces bokeh.

Tnx, indeed you can get since bokeh at 1.8; I just have to practice. you shoot most of the time with your 85mm so pretty familiar with it; I shoot with several lenses (all but one are zoo) and not enough with any one of them so definitely not the same mileage but it is one my to do list to at least master the one of my lenses :-)

I used to sell Mamiya in the IUS only here it was the model 645. Speaking of medium format, Irene, if you ever get the chance to shoot with a Bronica GS-1 with one of their lenses jump at it. I managed a camera store for years and got to shoot with just about every medium format camera there is (or was), and the Bronica GS-1 was head and shoulders better than anyone else. If I had to compare it to a DSLR I'd say the output reminded me of Canon's. I ended up buying a used Bronica SQ-AM when someone gave me a great deal on their whole system. 6x6cm square is nice because you never have to rotate the camera to shoot verticals. There was a focusing screen that had lines for 645 portrait and landscape composition.

FAQ since y’all boys wanna say the same things 100 times. She is aware the numbering is wrong on the Film Camera model. People make mistakes and it would be silly for her to re upload for such a minor fix. Yes she is taking a lot of photos of the same poses. There are minor differences in expression, background and clothing that she wants to capture so she can pick the best options after the shoot. If you’re a snob and take one photo of each pose you’re missing out on some magic, just saying 🤷‍♂️ Love this Irene! Thank you for the upload!

You are totally correct! When I am photographing a model I have my camera set to Continuous High, wait till the buffer is full then go onto the next pose. NEVER MISS A MOMENT!
