Same, I just wanna bring my camera and the lenses, carrying a tripod and other stuff etc just never been my thing. I was considering getting a hot shoe flash at least just in case but as I’ve never used one before, not sure what to look for in one.
@UrbaneVisions6 ай бұрын
@@Harvester88 Definitely invest in a good hot shoe flash. I've never used the Godox V100 (i think that's the model) but I've heard great things. As a Sony shooter, I used the HVL-60RM on a shot and really liked the results. It's a Sony flash that works well with it.

Always love your photos Manny. Your portraits are the best I've seen. I'm not a fan of Luminar though. Some of the edits look like what the Google Pixel phones do. Artificial and over processed. Others may like this though. So I can understand there's a market for it.

Maybe he slimmed her down due to distortion from the lens causing her to look differently than she does naturally. I don't know. I'm just saying, I know lenses can have that effect .
@dominicpascal55126 ай бұрын
@@TwoTimesRmedia he's using a 50mm lens, there is no distorsion. the reason he does it is to show off the feature of the sponsor's software, not because it was necessary. leaves a sour taste IMHO

I feel this is more of a budget gear shoot, I mean an R8 and nifty 50, but getting back to portrait photography... probably better to show off composition in camera with available lighting...but had to wait to see the POST technique to see this... using the sponsor instead of in camera. You Nailed the time of day issue, but a good reflector instead of lights could have been a great addition.
