Thank you Belinda for all your awesome videos. I was wondering if you could explain which edible substance I can use to mix FECO oil with real raw liquified honey. I would really appreciate your help 😊

Hi. Thank you for the educational video. I really enjoy watching your videos. I have a question on how to fix an insoluble toner. Can I add more solubilizer to the toner after adding the oil phase into the water phase? Or is there a way to fix it? Thank you.

Hi Belinda, I use your formula program to make a body mist (5% Caprylyl/Capryl Glucoside as Solubiliser and use 0.5% oil) but it turns out very foamy doesn't spray well. Can you please advise how to fix the foamy problem when use Solubiliser? Thank you!
@theinstituteofpersonalcare64014 жыл бұрын
Hi Yuri, use one of the other solubilisers. They will all foam to some degree but all spray well - check the quality of your spray dispenser if you had issues as they are mostly water. Solublisers foam because they are very highly surface active - if they didn't have such a high surface activity, they wouldn't solubilise well. So you can try reducing the solubiliser a little depending on your oil loading, or use another solubiliser, but they will all foam to some degree.

Hi, I am working with Essential Oil blends (4-5 oils/blend) and trying to solubilize. Would you expect to need a greater than 10:1 ratio for blends vs straight oils?

Thx! Interesting video. I always come to the conclusion that Symbiosolv works best for me. Do you normally add glycols? Often pentylene glycol can make a cloudy products totally clear.
@theinstituteofpersonalcare64014 жыл бұрын
It depends on what else is in the formula - glycols on their own are not solubilisers so I wouldn't want to suggest it will always work as it wouldn't in a lot of cases.
