You should get some polish clothes for your old SS, makes a huge difference and one of the benefits of stainless. Only like $8 and maybe 10 minutes of time. Ideally, the titanium coating won't scratch at all, but interested to see how they hold up over a year. Think I'm gonna wait until Series 11 to upgrade from my Series 9 and go to Titanium.

Nothing beats the shine and royalty of the Stainless steel. As for the scratches and buffs, it can easily be removed using a stainless steel polish cream. It basically makes it like new. It will be interesting to know if we can do the same with titanium, and how well the titanium resists scratches.

45 SS S9's are like 375 on ebay, pretty easy choice for me. Not too hard to find one still under apple care either, and you can extend it for 4 bucks a month indefinitely.

Waited for Series 10 but I don’t like the dark color of the natural titanium. It looks so dark and do not fit with silver jewelry. So I ended up with the series 9 in silver stainless steel 😅

@@H49-m1t😄 yeah definitely doesn’t work with silver jewelry. My later video should will show it more with other watchbands. Congrats on the series 9 though! Practically the same chip anyway.

I really preferred the stainless steel lighter color, the natural titanium is a darker color. When I first unboxed it I thought I accidentally received the slate titanium. Was bummed to find out the normal silver is available exclusively for the Hermes collection!

I love the new titanium. I initially grabbed a Series 10 in Jet Black because I thought it was sleek. After one day I already had a scratch on the finish near where the lugs slide in, assuming it was from one of my metal band lugs I tried on. I couldn’t take it aging like that that quickly. I really wanted an Hermes so I caved and returned my jet black and upgraded to the Hermes. I’ve always wanted to grab an Hermes watch and this was the year! The silver titanium is gorgeous on it! So happy with the watch and the new design!

I heard Apple discontinued the Hermes watch which basically means it’s going to lose support.

@@micpie9480 they definitely didn’t since I just bought a brand new series 10 Hermes this weekend. And even if they did that doesn’t mean it’s going to lose support. It’s just a regular series 10 with some Hermes watch faces and branding. It would still get all of the same software support for as long as any other series 10 would.

Thank you for reviewing it and I finally got to see the natural finish. I didn’t realize that my stainless steel watch had a crack in the inner glass so I guess it’s time for me to change it. I didn’t like the black or gold, so the natural was the obvious choice, except I couldn’t figure out what the natural looked like. Your video helped me decide. I’ll miss the stainless (in spite of all the scratches) but really don’t like the aluminum, so for me, titanium in natural is the way to go. 💸 😂

@@JasonChikowski so far I haven’t had a scratch of any kind on my natural titanium (including micro scratches). I could tell especially from how the lugs resist sliding in that there is a decent coating on it. As to protecting internals, Titanium in general is supposed to be more durable than stainless steel so let’s see how everything goes over time.

the stainless is more shiny but you get added benefits with the titanium such as scratch resistant material, lighter. thats about it lol.

I really like the Slate Titanium Series 10. I have a Series 7 Edition space grey brushed titanium Apple Watch and I really like it but the battery barely gets through a day now. But I like the brushed titanium because it repels fingerprints and smudges. How’s the glossy titanium holding up on the Series 10? It’s one reason I didn’t like SS Watches (fingerprint, smudge, and scratch magnets). Is your Series 10 holding up?

Yeah same battery struggles with my series 7 😌 The titanium 10 is doing pretty good so far with finger prints. Came from the gym and switched bands and stuff. Only noticed parts of dark finger prints close up in bright light and no scratches.

That’s the 41 mm series 7, which is the same design as series 8 and 9. I always get the smaller watch sizes so the FYI the bigger equivalent to this generation is the 45mm

I wish the natural titanium was brushed or matte like the UW2. The high polish looks too chrome-like and doesn't show off the warmth of titanium enough.

@@SupertechUSA Exactly. I mean it's Apple's own fault... For years they made us believe that matte (aluminum) finish is low cost / basic and that shiny = premium (stainless steel on more expensive watches and iPhones) :D

@@SupertechUSA bought the 46mm jet black gps only with rubber infinity loop. Also, the new black titanium milanese band for the black ultra 2 watch fits the 46mm perfectly. You can’t buy it as the band for the jet black, but I will be buying that separately… remember to get your wrist sized too. I got $70 on my trade in Apple 5 with Cellular… so was only about $370…. The Hermes would have been $1300 plus tax…. I couldn’t justify that. Also last watch was with cellular which I never turned on in 5 years… so saved there as well.

It is a shame they took off Stinless Steel! First of all look and feel of Titanium is different. Second of all, I have 3 expensive stainless steel bands and now Apple want me to buy all new bands again to match Titanium? Only solution I see is a Silver Titanium for Hermes. I was not willing to buy Hermes, just becouse it has H logo in the past, but now, it is the only option for true sliver color.

I have stainless steel v5. Would have gone for the stainless steel again, but it wasn’t available. I have ordered the natural titanium. When I had them side by side in the Apple Store, I thought the natural looked OK. Just hoping I will love it as much as the SS.
