I loved to see u take good care of your man's scalp. I thought the treatment good. However I've had locs for almost 10 years and wouldn't put conditioner in my locs cos it encourages buildup and possibly the flakes too cos the roots are unable to breathe properly. U would need to find the right oils that suit his scalp. Also I thought his scalp looked very red/sore afterwards. Less fuss is always more with locs which encourages them to blossom more. And finding out what works for you. All the best
