Hi Rae I have not used the Aunt Jackee’s grape-seed line but I loved the combo on your hair and with my hair being finer I think I could go a full week. I have started liking volume over definition (I still want my hair defined) but it takes a few days to get the volume. I have only tried a mousse one time and loved it but that was very early in my natural hair journey but I liked it and want to have one good moisturizing Mousse in my rotation of products. OMG 😮 another dryer bit the dust smh and yes I agree to look around for a heavier duty standing dryer that is made to handle weekly to bi-weekly use. They don’t make things to last very long like they use to. Good luck finding one. Let us know as I would like another dryer that dries with the airflow going downward.

Hi Shelle! You could definitely get a full week out of this. I washed on day 5 because I needed to get more content out, but I definitely didn't need to; I could've gone a full week. Thank you. What helps me have and keep moisturized hair is having a good wash day. My hair has to be moisturized and hydrated before putting my leave-in and stylers on. If my hair isn't hydrated first, it won't be hydrated after. With that being said, think back to when you used it and whether you had a successful wash day with products that really moisturized your hair and did you deep condition, etc. Just a thought. Let me know how it goes the second time around. 💛

Great video as always! Would you say the Aunt Jackie’s Ice Curls gel is comparable to the Talia Wajid hold me down gelle? I love that gelle and am looking for back up gels with similar hold and softness. Based on your videos the African Pride Aloe and Coconut water gel and the KeraCare Moisturizing gel might also fall in a similar category, but I’d love your thoughts!

I love the Taliah Waajid Hold Me Down Gelle, especially the original version. I haven't used the Taliah Waajid gel in a while, but I think that they are very comparable in look, feel and hold. I think this one may have a bit more hold, but still not a crunch. Also, you may try the Eden Lavender gel. That one really surprised me. The KeraCare gel would be my last choice only because it is very sticky if you use too much. It will make the hair feel gummy and I don't particularly like that. If you use that one, just use a very little bit and make sure to dry your hair completely. Thanks for tuning in.

Hi! I can't speak for other people, but I apply the mousse first because I'm using a harder holding gel. I want the softer product closest to my strands. I think most people who are adding the gel first are probably using a looser gel like UFD and they are using it as their primer before the mousse to give it a little more hold. Just my take, but again, I can't speak for them. I hope you enjoyed the video!💛
