How do they know ? I never had to provide insurance info to the DMV before. Do they require that in Arkansas ? Probably a good idea but I think that is a lot more work for the DMV to do And I would assume the database is never correct too . People change cars, insurance and insurance companies all of the time. I know I had 3 different companies one year when I was younger. Now I am tied into one company because of my home owner policy discount.

Right? Thank you for your service! I'm a Texas girl and I love our Texas Troopers. Our whole family, including our daughter, are firemen, so we fully support our State Troopers. We've worked many horrible accidents with some great officers from many depts but love seeing those Cowboy hats! Would love to see videos from DPS but I doubt if our state govt would allow it. They'd be afraid of the liability. There's 1 video on this channel that had Texas Troopers chasing a drug runner all the way into Arkansas. Cowboy hats and monte hats along with a few sheriff's and local officers from Arkansas all on one scene.....AWESOME!

Tougher laws are needed for these people including minimum mandatory sentences to stop many prosecutors and judges from treating it lightly and include forfeiture of the vehicle if the driver is the owner.

@@richierichcomics We now have this in Arkansas: Act 734 allows those running from law enforcement to be charged with a Class D Felony if they exceed the speed limit while on that chase. That felony carries a penalty of up to six years in prison.

@edhayenga - problem is that even though it is a felony, you still have prosecutors and judges who fail to take these cases serious enough. I remember seeing 2 cases where the defendant got 1 day another 2 days in jail and that was it. It starts with prosecutors looking for the easy way out so they plea bargain it away with much generosity. I bet though if judges and prosecutors did some ride alongs with the ASP, they would never take it lightly again.

Several things to note 1 - No TVI/pit - dude knew how ASP operate and within seconds of nearly having his ride pitted (when ASP Caleb Miller spun around) and a 3rd ASP was in the chase (7 at the traffic lights) he gave up - not wanting his ride to be totalled 2 - Once stopped no running 3 - No resisting 4 - No "I can't breathe" 5 - No "I wanna call my momma" 6 - It pays to watch *Natural State Transparency* I know. And what sounds like the engine still in high rev although it's parked is the twin cooling fans running to cool everything down. When I was in law enforcement some of our Vicky's had the belt driven fan removed from the water pump and had to large electric fans one pusher behind the grill and one puller behind the radiator that'd run simultaneously.
