Increasingly, water management solution providers are turning to nature based techniques to reduce downstream flooding, improve natural habitats and have a positive impact on the wider community. We look at how this has been put into practice on the most advanced river restoration project in the UK, and how Atkins have taken lessons learned on the River Wensum in Norfolk and implemented on the River Soar in Leicestershire.
