Location : Safety Harbor, Florida USA
Explore this 0.9-mile out-and-back trail near Safety Harbor, Florida. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 16 min to complete. This is a popular trail for birding and walking.
This is a short paved trail and nature boardwalk with interpretive signs that provide views across Tampa Bay. There is a distant look at the skyline of Tampa.
Accessibility: There are 4 designated accessible spaces in the paved parking lot off of Veterans Memorial Lane at the southwest end of the trail. All of them are van-accessible with striped access aisles. The trail surface is paved concrete or wooden boardwalks (with edge barriers and railings). It is typically at least 5 feet wide (with some wider passing spaces).
The entire trail is estimated to be in the gentle grade category (3% or less). This trail will likely be navigable for most wheelchairs/mobility equipment or stroller users. There are benches and picnic tables along the route for resting. There is a wheelchair-accessible fishing pier with level access.
