Great walk. This place has been somewhere I’ve wanted to travel to since 1978. Now you’ve refreshed my desire to go. 💗. Love the Native American description of how it came into being. Their perspective is always more entertaining than the science.

Just enjoyed walking and seeing Devil’s Tower. Loved your comments. I could almost feel the chill and smell the fresh air. Liked seeing your son walk by. Nice that your family is with you. When I see this landmark can’t help but remember the movie Close Encounters if the Third Kind! This is always an enjoyable way to get in my thirty minute walk each day. Thank you for sharing.

Dude ranches and guest ranches, 🤔 can’t say I know the difference. Nice giving credit to your son for research. Can’t wait to include my children as assistants, I’ll even place their name in the credits. Wow that view is incredible, the Cliff looks like an artist matte painting and with all those boulders, it’s just incredible. I love these legends, they add so much interest to area like this, I can picture a giant bear trying to claw its way up. $25 dollars to get in is crazy, too bad you forget your pass but I guess there’s a silver lining. Funny story about the flagpole, it was the bear maybe 🤔. It’s great that you have a patreon started, nice of you to acknowledge your patrons.

Ha, I’m not sure I actually know the difference either between dude ranch and guest ranch. Such a beautiful view out over that valley, I agree. And I love the park like a Ponderosa forest. The park pass is only going to have two months of overlap and will actually break even on this trip. Thanks for watching and have a great day. - H

Thanks for the walk Henry! You are collecting quite the diversity of landscapes in your walks. Have you considered making a playlist for unique landscapes? Thanks for the info on what this place means to Native Americans. The dark corners of American history bother me, but I might be more bothered by individuals who choose not to acknowledge those dark corners. Hope you and your son are having a great time, and I really like the way you choose to educate both your sons. Take care.
