Great video, I camped at the Woodbine campgrounds near there two years ago on my way to Bozeman to visit my son . It really is a beautiful area, I was there in late September and hiked the Woodbine Falls trail . Also the campground host had told me to be aware and carry bear spray because there had been a bear coming in to the campgrounds at night.

Gorgeous hike. We've nothing like that in Missouri, or the entire Midwest, for that matter. LOL One thing you forgot to mention that you brought along on the hike was sturdy hiking shoes, or at least sturdy shoes. : ) I would so love to do that hike. But this is the next best thing. Good point, though I often do these trails in cross trainer type shoes as well. For the snow and icy bits, it's good to have something with more traction. -H

Wow, this is such a beautiful area, already planning a hike there. It looks like it is 26 miles? Do every see any moose, or elk on your walks? If you every get back to Anaconda, I would recommend the hike up to storm pass to goats flats, it is so beautiful. Part of the CDT. We hike that every year. Goat flats is stunning! Thank you for always showing us your hikes. I love getting ideas for new hikes in Montana.
