was it a derecho, thats what it seems like on the radar you show? radar warned storms tend to confuse microburst for tornado's because it also creates a gate to gate shear signature on Doppler radar (velocity mode) On (Reflective) a hook is a prompt for a warning... Did your area actually end up with a confirmed Tornado?

Did the 12-250’s siren not go off? I own one and the only reason I ever know of the alerts is because I leave the broadcast on. I’ve only had SVRs setting my radio off.

+Cruiseomatic I am using GRlevel3_2 which is from Gibson ridge software, its a one time payment of 80$. The radio with the flashing LED is a Reecom weather radio.

I would bc I could possibly chase a tornado, plus I would like to have a TOR be a first alert on my RadioShack 12-259 maybe... but, if it was a tornado touch down, if it isn't a PDS or Tornado Emergency and if it isn't even affecting you, it is fun to catch.

Atlantic City NJ - Atlantic County NJ. Why did all the radios activate and the other radioshack radios didn't becuase the only radioshack radio that went off was the 12-993

You can usually find them at Walmart or if you have a Radio Shack around
