Thanks, glad you like my Potensic Atom video! No, you need the controller and phone (or controller without phone) to fly the drone and can't fly it with only the phone. The DJI Neo can however, but only in short distances near you.

@LensOfJames thanks for taking the time to reply. I'm thinking of taking one on short bike tours and want the lightest weight, but with some reasonably good controllability. Do you know if the DJI Mini 4K can be operated by app alone? Is the neo able to be controlled fairly well from the app? Thanks again, I've subscribed 👍

@unapalomablanc As far as I know, the DJI Neo is the only drone to be controlled by an app. It works but with limitations so definitely worth considering the remote control so you get full use of the drone

What do you think about foto quality in JPG? When you crop?

It's ok, but at 12mp isn't the best. If you're wanting a drone for photography then finding one with higher resolution images might be necessary

You have to short press then long press the button. Make sure the battery is charged too.

Yes it would, but I think vertical shooting is only available for drones at a higher price bracket

The apop store lists languages as English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, Traditional Chinese, but not Thai unfortunately
