This is the most thorough, professional review of the Potensic Atom ever! You did a great job showing all the features and demonstrating the little Atom. I wish the drone had a higher bit rate, but I really like the color science and the overall look of the video that it produces. As you say, it's a great first drone, or even as a travel drone.

Good honest review Eddie 👍🏻 I agree with a lot that you’ve mentioned in your first impressions, I think an ATOM 2 will probably feature more “pro-like” qualities. I really enjoy flying mine, the sticks are really smooth and the video quality is fantastic for a drone it its class. The signal is not bad for 2.4Ghz. The only issue I found is that it’s not possible (at least for me) to do a hand takeoff. Other than that, I think it’s perfect for beginners and enthusiasts/hobbyists.

Good to know that they've improved their drones since Kelly and I reviewed their previous model, which we get a lot of hate for, just by being honest. The 3 axis gimbal is huge win.

Hi Eddie, good review of the Potensic Atom. IMO there are currently three quality entry drones, the DJI Mini 4k, Fimi Mini 3, and the Potensic Atom. My favorite is the Fimi Mini 3.
