Natures Steam Room in Bolivia
In this video we begin our two day tour exploring Uyuni in Bolivia. We are not usually a fan of doing tours but hiring a car and exploring by ourselves was not an option here so we booked onto a tour.
Although we did see a few nice places, to be honest we didn’t love the first day of this tour as we were squashed into the back of a car and taken to places that we’re not quite sure are the places we were told we would be going… we checked Google maps and were pretty sure our ‘guide’ just took us to the places he wanted to take us rather than to the actual lagoons and springs we were told we were at. It was a strange experience and as we edited this video we found it really hard to figure out what had happened and what to actually believe.
Either way, we did have an adventure and saw some sights of Bolivia.
Thankfully on the second day we had a different guide/driver and we weren’t squeezed and shoved right at the back all day so we look forward to sharing that part with you in the next video.

The hot spring looked so nice and very cool that there was a steam room. Never seen one like that before. That dog was so cute - just hoping for head scratches and maybe some remnants of lunch. Too bad it wasn't exactly the nature setting you were hoping for.

La Laguna Colorada, ubicada en el suroeste de Bolivia, es un lago salino de alta altitud conocido por sus aguas de tonalidades rojas y rosadas, causadas por sedimentos y microorganismos. Forma parte de la Reserva Nacional de Fauna Andina Eduardo Avaroa, en el altiplano andino. La laguna es hogar de flamencos y otras aves, y su paisaje se ve acentuado por los volcanes circundantes. Además de su belleza natural, la Laguna Colorada es una atracción única y significativa en la región.
