You know what I find dumb about this. They've given it a worser score than the original even though this one is much better and more improved. IGN clearly hate the naughty bear games and don't give them a chance. this clearly should have got a higher score but nope...IGN say its bad. Even the guy who did this review was taking it a bit to far and just kept going on saying how bad this game is, even though it's clearly better, there's only a few bugs in the game which have already been fixed. I would have given the game a 5.5 out of 10. (Sorry for the long comment)

This review puts me off this game more than the actual game itself! The game has been harshly critiqued by a Call of Booty fan boy! It's these sort of reviews that are toxic to the industry! Yes he does state some fair points that are legit but some have been exaggerated! Here's how it should've been done: - The humour is amusing but has potential to do better! - The mechanics are lacking - The concept is amusing and is great for some stress release, otherwise it is senseless violence! - The visuals are not terrible, infact for cartoon violence such as this they are quite accurate! This game does not deserve a 2.3/10 but a 5 as it is better than what these butt nuggets are making it out to be #NotalwaysCoD #NotalwaysaboutCallofDuty

While this is definitely an improvement over the previous game (In terms of framerate and design) there are still huge flaws like AI, though I don't really agree with a goddamn 2.3/10. Here's my gripes: When you assume a new disguise, you can't go back to a previous one, which means that if your objective was to kill X while disguised as a Y with the weapon Z, it makes it impossible if you disguise yourself as something else after killing or disguising yourself as the ONLY character in the level disguised as Y (which allows you to take their disguise when prompted), but you can still go back and swap your current weapon out with Z if you swapped your weapon which was Z out with something else that was more powerful and/or more fun to use, also your powerful starting outfit is completely lost! Makes it almost pointless! What should have been done is if clothing was an item that was also dropped and swap-able, an actual game object like the weapons, like how hitman did it! Also you can't use guns in this iteration of the franchise, only in executions. You can only destroy guns. This is a real shame, too! What should have been done is if you could pickup and use weapons like in the previous game, and allow you to refill ammo from enemies who had the same kind of weapon you had, also kinda like how hitman did it! Melee and guns! Disguises as in-world items! What they could do better than hitman is to allow you to move the clothing items so enemies are unable to find them, as they could be found and trigger suspicion as in someone dead or knocked unconscious, or just something weird but still reported. In hitman, clothing is kinda left there on the floor when you change outfits, I don't think anybody ever notices them either, which is a way hitman can improve! Also allow the player to move the clothes if they trigger suspicion! Also execution animations aren't as brutal as the previous game, even though some of them were recycled from the previous game. I was hoping for that Manhunt: Carebears Edition style like in the previous game, even if some of it was mildly comical, like at the end of one of the mission chapters, Naughty pulls an RPG over his shoulder and aims it at a group of bears who rejected him after he saved the island from an outside threat, it was a photorealistic rocket-propelled grenade launcher you'd see in the hands of an afghan religious extremist, it was totally random but fit in well! Anyways yeah make the executions more brutal and add an option to angle the camera closer like in the previous game. The way stealth could improve is to perhaps incorporate some sort of crouch that allows you to hide behind objects in the game world, and reduce the amount of jungle hiding spots, and allow you to regenerate stamina while grabbing a bear while standing still, so that would compensate for the reduced jungle areas that would refill stamina. As for AI, I am able to place bear traps and plant traps right in front of bears, and they don't notice a damn thing, I can even keep doing it and doing it after they free themselves! Though it's fun to trick the AI into attacking eachother while glitching a grab while they're in the state of freeing someone else from a trap! This happened to me once and it was hilarious how they kept shooting bears with an AK, and being surprised by how there was corpses appearing right in front of them! "OH NO EVERYONE IS BEING MURDERED!" *BANG BANG BANG BANG* Though that also means that the AI is better than anticipated, they attack attackers rather than attacking what is marked as the player, this means that there is potential to have some sort of feature where insane characters assault other characters out of insanity, causing more hilarious chaos, which would have been extremely awesome!!

This one is decent, but the original (once they patched it) was awesome and the better game. Usually those who give this game a bad review are those who don't know how to play the game... you have to sadistically slowly cook the bears if you catch my drift. What was great about the original, is that you could do thing like scare the crap out of bears, they would barricade in a house, and you could get extra points for acting like in a scary movie for example scaring them by letting them see you for a few seconds thru the window of the barricaded house. fun. :)

Ok. I can Easily play defence attorney here. 1. (The repetitive kills) well then use a different weapon or try to experiment. 2.(the stealth) come on, the game would be ion impossible to beat, especially in the later levels. 3.(the not clear death requirements) am I the only one that wants to think as well as play? good point. but Resident Evil 6 was just given a 4.5, and there was advertising everywhere. no firings. and these gaming companies pay reviewers like Gamespot to advertise their games. Several choose to pull the plug on advertising if the game gets a bad score. Gamespot couldn't withstand the pressure and fired the reviewer, to "hold someone responsible". That was Gamespot's choice. They were not directly payed to give the game a good score, it was simply implied that they should.

i played this game and i have to agree with Fly an IGN, it was fun but after 4 hours of game play i felt like the game was lacking. the "killing and torturing" system in the game was lacking and i felt that they could have done more with it, perhaps what the punisher did in the PS2 Punisher game where you could offer to let the person live, but in this game at the cost of the bears sanity, something like that. Hopefuly theyll make a new one with more to it. id love to see what this game can be

Now obviously everybody should know by now that IGN Is terrible at making trusted or truthful reviews. Naughty Bear Panic In Paradise has a refreshing feel to it, and it is not just another fps or zombie game. How many games have people played that involve playing a sadistic bear that kills other bears in creative ways. And when your done with each mission, you have the opportunity to purchase costumes and weapons for use in the next level.

another issue with the viewer is that scores like 7.5 and 8 have been unfairly de-valued. modern society loves to give a game that they enjoy a 10, and a game that they didn't really enjoy a 0. look on metacritic's user scores to see what I mean. "Mass Effect 3 was pretty good, but the ending sucked. 0 out of 10" makes no sense. and "OMG, all they gave it was an 8? these guys CLEARLY don't know a game of the year when they see one." undermines a reviewer that is actually recommending the game.

You just mentioned one of the games biggest flaws: it's a game about a stuffed teddy bear killing other stuffed teddy bears, and it fails to have a sense of humor or be self-aware in any way. I don't know about you, but I don't want the combat in a game like this to feel like a chore. Also the death animations are horribly limited. Burning a bear with a stove is the same animation as buring a bear with a grill. They didn't even try to make the executions some variation.

Personally I found this game quite enjoyable. The variant ways of murder, and the fact that it didn't cheapen itself with humor and played that serial killer aspect of psychical and mental torture completely straight were both fun.

the issue is, its based of an iOS game re-made into the PS3 hardware. I understand the game is alright, but why pay 15 bucks for a game with a bit better production and controls? iOS games generally suck or are made for the sole purpose to kill time. porting them to main console is kinda dumb and sometimes proves to be lackluster as we see here.

While playing this game I was always excited when I purchased a weapon for the next level, and dressing up Naughty Bear to look like my "dream" killer, made the game so much more epic. And if you complete the game, you can go back to each level and look for hidden rooms, which reward you with weapons and money to spend in the store. Horrible Visuals? Really IGN? The game which is about a fucking Bear for crying out loud, has great cartoon graphics. It's not like the creators were going for a

The difference is in the execution. CoD has never really been amazing but it is fundamentally solid so even when you do the same thing over and over again, the game does a good job of hiding repetition. Naughty Bear does not.

Well gee, if this game is rated E+10, don't you think that there isn't going to be that much of a difficulty attached to it? Really? Why in the world would this guy compare Naughty Bear to triple a stealth games like Splinter Cell, Hitman, and Dishonored. Of course it's worse than those games. But in comparison to the original it's WAY better!!!!!!!! Most of the mechanics work and thank god for the map. To make a long story short, this is what the original should have been. But hell, for a 15 dollar XBLA Game, it's really good and that was a VERY smart move on the developers part :). My Final Score: 8.1/10. Pros: Leaps and bounds better than the original, graphics are less muddy and more colorful, MAP THANK GOD, Revamped interface, Revamped Combat and steath, DEATH ANIMATIONS!!!!! Cons: Graphics could be a little better, Still meh story, People that didn't like the original still may not like it
