Your designers are very talented. Thank you for the tour. I have never seen it from the waterway. Had no idea it was so big. Used to hang out at Dana Point Harbor every weekend . Loved to grab a coffee and walk around checking out the boats in the slips. Back in the day, there was a 10 year wait for a slip to be available. Probably not the same today. So cool to see you getting a Trader Joe's. The best. All you need now to make that area perfect is a Kean's Coffee. The best coffee house in Southern California, in Costa Mesa.

Fantastic weather this spring. Sunny and no rain. Stary nights where you can see the Elon Musks sattelittes. Sailing is fine but swimming is to cold outside the middle of the summer. And normally the conditions are unforeseeable - and the season is short - so superyachts and charters are seldom seen in the Nordic countries and the Baltic Sea.

Love the seal impersonation! The hair style is still good, still even & the colour is still OK too. Nice for Rico to be so involved, we usually just see him in the odd mirror. I love your neighborhood, I live in a small village on the edge of Manchester, industrial area from hundreds of years back, ie start of the industrial revolution with cotton weaving. By choice I would live on a super yacht always moving on to the next island!!! Always in the sun, aging I know but I need heat.
@NautiStyles4 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much! yes, I can prob go another month without a haircut, but then it will get funny. I actually don’t die my hair, my highlights are all from the sun 🌞 😀 so I’m super lucky I don’t have to worry about “the roots” growing out. lol I think the ideal size for us would be 80’ power or 60-70’ cat... something we could handle without always having crew onboard. U?
@stephencoster95324 жыл бұрын
@@NautiStyles Power not sail & over 100' I get sea sick on a puddle so the bigger the boat & the more stabalizers the better, plus I'm on crutches so... I didn't think your hair was dyed, as you say no roots but you need some more time in the sun for the highlights... The haircut you had suited your face & head shape well, plus being very conteperary. Your whole style is very modern yet still stands the test of time, so clothes, hair/hat & makeup are all very in the moment yet still timeless, contemperary & lasting... Hats off to you. I tend to wear what at one time were called astors, like a trilby but with flat, slightly larger brim. I do like combats for all the pockets, phone, kindle, heart spray, daily pills, etc, etc, etc... Rico is in classic roadie gear, all black to hide in the shadows, typical cameraman. Back to you, a suntan does make people look healthy, pale, wan face looks like you're ill, but nice, not to deep tan, any freckles? They always point to youth... It is bad that we, mankind, judge people on how young they look, age brings wisdom but you are over the hill, youth is energy, strength, vitality, up to date with modern equipment, fresh infomation, in the moment... BS! But how things are perceived. Told you I learned a lot of this crap... Take care you three & stay safe...

@@NautiStyles I've just watched 'I Like The Sound Of My Own Voice Aholic' tour of the 'Gulf craft Majesty 140' 4,000 miles at cruising I think he said 10kn. What a great yacht, I want one! It was $19.5 mil but that may have come down due to no sales, or sails? So when I get enough on the lottery can you captain a boat this size? I'm guessing it's 140ft long? So if you can there is a great captains cabin behind the bridge, putting you in your place? Room for the dog too, it looks so like my friends chi its a touch spooky... Change the bar in the saloon to my jewellery studio, sink already built in. Stare out the large window for insperation, copy a whale or dolphin. I think a sea based collection could work? I would love to see a tour of this class of boat by you, not to compare but to see a professional viewpoint. Could you do a video on what each of the controls do, ie auto pilot, how it works? As complex as you like, tecnophobes like me would love it. Not just the, 'This controls the rudder so...' But how it does with video of the part working? Enough waffel, I'm listening to, 'Paper Sun' from The Traffic from 60's, now changed to something heavier, more pounding beat... Take care & stay safe...

@@NautiStyles I forgot to mention the pure class you show in cleaning up the marina and looking out for the sealion, You did not allow the fact that they can be an annoyance cloud your judgement. As for the idea of a life on boat tour I am in favour. Nick over at Aquaholic has a couple of walking tours and they are great. This kind of content gives viewers extra incentive to watch as it differentiates your channel and Nick's from others. New sub watching from the beginning. I can't think of anything better than binge watching on a cold, snowy, February weekend. Your comment about the stupidity of people at the boat ramp took me back to when I was growing up in Indiana. My dad loved his toys and a boat was one of them. We had an 18' I/O runabout/skiboat and a small home on a pretty big lake/state park. I loved water skiing and started very early. Another of dad's toys was a Honda motorcycle. He and I would go for rides around the lake and one of our favorite places to go was a nearby boat ramp. Yes, it's like people lose their friggin' minds launching and recovering boats! It was hilarious entertainment. The best story didn't involve launching a boat, though... There were a few people camping in the boat ramp parking lot at the top of the hill leading down to the ramp. One evening, as they were outside sitting around a campfire, a car flew past them. They watched and saw the brake lights flash right before - WHOOSH! It was in the water. They ran down the hill and a guy in the car yelled, "Where the hell are we???" "In the middle of Raccoon Lake!" the people yelled back. Fortunately they were in an old Cadillac convertible with the top down so they had no trouble getting out. The campers helped them on shore and of course, they were all THREE SHEETS TO THE WIND PLASTERED! Well, news travelled fast around the lake and one of our neighbors told us early the next morning about what happened. So, dad and I headed off on the Honda and got to the ramp in time to watch a tow truck and a state police diver hook up the car and drag it out of the water onto the ramp. It was full of water and when a door was opened it rushed out along with some fish flopping on the ramp. Thanks for reminding me of some great memories! Looking forward to watching more as I still love boats. Although, while a boat has been called "a hole in the water to throw money into," for me, I throw money into a "hole in the sky." They are both fun... and expensive!!

Sorry for so many replies, but your channel is a new treat - just behind Aquaholic. Yours is very different but equally engaging.

Nice getting to know you both. Looks like a nice area, would be nice to see more about your boat though. (Hint: Some of us really enjoy both the walk through's and a more technical or detailed look at a boat)

Thanks for the tip, we were planning on doing a LIVE TOUR of our boat in the next 2 weeks 😀 thanks for watching 💙🙏🏻

You two are the gold standard when it comes to yacht tours. How can people hope to sell a boat in five to eight minutes of video? I've seen them showing boats with filthy decks, dirty bilges, dirty engines, just ridiculous! You should give training on how to do a proper boat tour! I really enjoy looking at different boats and yachts with all their many differences. Thanks!

Thank you for the great videos...I have always wanted to give the live a board life a try...came close back in 1989, a 39' Erikson. I live south of Santa Cruz. I do not know of any live a board marinas here :( How much are the space fees now? curious. Take care, and thank you again

Catching up on some of the older videos. I was wondering, living on a boat full time, how does the Internet work?

What a nice idea for that video and specially in those days! Being locked in Munich, I also can't wait to get back to lovely Croatia to enjoy our boat there - and those video's help to get over it - THANKS! I also want to (finally) compliment both of you for all the great reviews so far. Yours and the ones from Nick (Aquaholic here on youtube) are the best!! One complete off topic question: the red hat you're wearing in the first half of the video is not coincidentally a give away of Rat Hat, an Open Source Software company I happen to work for ;-)
@NautiStyles4 жыл бұрын
THANK YOU sooo much, really appreciate it 🙏🏻💙 we all can’t wait for it to be over 🙈🤪 my Red hat is by a company called Ecua-andino hats (they make fab hats 😍) stay safe and healthy 🙏🏻🙏🏻💙
