Hi!Preheat the oven for 10 minutes.Turn the oven on and keep it in dum for 20 minutes in 450 fahrenheit ( 230 celsius ) . after 20 minutes turn the oven off and let it be in the oven for another 10 minutes. In total after 30 minutes your biryani will be ready. Please watch this video from 17:50 to 18:26 to know the oven process kzbin.info/www/bejne/oqDYoIRngdd9rtU . One more thing once the biryani is ready lets wait for 30 minutes to settle ( after dum process ) so that it will be very tasty. don't eat it once it is ready.We always need your support. please share our videos with your friends and family. Measurements for 1 KG: ******* Ground nut oil - 10 tbl spoon Ghee - 5 tbl spoon red chilli powder - 1 1/2 tea spoon cumin powder - 1 tea spoon Coriander powder - 2 tea spoon Chicken/Mutton - 1 to 1.5 kg Mint leaves - 10g ( only leaves weight ) coriander leaves - 15g ( only leaves weight ) Salt as needed ( probably 40g sea salt for entire recipe ) curd - 150 ml lemon juice - 3 tbl spoon Seeraga samba rice - 1 kg Biryani Masala Ingredients: ******* Cashew Nuts - 25G cardamom - 4G cloves - 2G stone flower ( kalpasi ) - 8G cinnamon - 2 g (3inch) bay leaves - 1g (3 count medium ) star anise - 2g ( 3count ) nut mug powder ( jathikai podi ) - 1g Ginger Garlic Paste Ingredients: ********** small onion - 300 g green chillies - 14g Garlic - 80G ( Peeled weight ) ginger - 40G ( Peeled weight ) Main thing to consider is the ingredients under Biriyani masala should be sautéed very well so that you will get the correct color for thalapakatti (correct consistency).Not sure about Venu and Bangaru Biriyani. In this video totally 12 small cups of water to be added for this recipe (for the quantity of rice mentioned in the video.) As the gravy already have approximately 2 cups of water, we are adding 10 cups of water. After water got boiled add the rice. Check for salt and add if needed at this stage. Wait till the water got evaporated and then we have to put dum. Dum process and timings: Cover the vessel with aluminuim foil. I have preheated a Iron Dosa pan for 10 minutes. Place the vessel on the preheated dosa pan and put some weight above the vessel. This should be in medium flame for 20 minutes. After that switch off the stove and let the vessel be on the dosa pan itself for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes you can open and enjoy the biriyani. I will give the detail recipe in English for the entire process as soon as possible. Thanks for watching our recipes. Sir, If I use biriyani rice instead of seeraga samba rice, what is the water total needed for 1 kg rice? How it is different from water needed for seeraga samba rice?

@Suji Aravind You mentioned biriyani rice right?.Is it basmati rice?Or any other small grain rice?Because in our area we will call other small grain rice as biriyani rice.So if you are using any other small grain rice,then the water quantity will be same as in the video. But if it is basmati rice,then the water quantity will be different. But our suggestion is for this Thalapakkati style biriyani seeraga samba rice will give good results,because the rice itself has its own aroma and flavour. We didn't try it with Basmati rice,but some of our viewers did it with basmati rice and told that the taste is good.But as I said earlier the water quantity will be different for basmati rice.

@Suji Thanks for the clarification.Basmati rice ku gravy la irukira water kanaku la edukka vendam.6 cups basmati rice ku 12 cups water should be added.(The basmati rice should be soaked in water for 20 minutes before adding to the cooking vessel.) This video is for seeragasamba rice so gravy la irukra water 2 cups kanakula edupom aprom 10 cups water add panuvom,so it will make total 12 cups water. This is the only difference for water quantity. Another thing is we never tried this biryani with basmati rice.But our viewers tried and got good results.If in case dhum open seinja piragu water level konjam irundhuchina innum oru 5 or 10 minutes dhum la veinga.Correct ah irukkum. Seinju paathutu water level pathi feedback sollunga. Thank you.
