This was absolutely superb, a defining moment in my childhood, every year we would see this battle and cheer and boo. Brought back some memories seeing this. Many thanks for posting it :)

OMG this brings me back to my childhood and seeing this in the late '70s, it left a massive lasting impression on me and helped me fall in love with the models that came alive.

I am 61 years old and remember this well when my dad used to bring our family to watch this with a big picnic spread brilliant to see its still so popular

After the war it was called Battle of the River Plate Hence H,M!S Exeter & Ajax & pocket battle ship of the German navy .

What if i build yamato(japaneese battle ship)and i join that naval battle,to sink yamato or bismark(german battle ship)...i think i saw HMS Royal

If Yamato where to partake on that battle,eather she'd end UP pretty bruised from the battle or (eventualy) be sunk the "Alied" bombers. Though probably it wouldv'e been followed by other Japanese ships,giving It a bigger chance of victory; Awesow,I Just wanted to clarifie that the main "Enemy" ship is based on the Graf Spee cruiser,though with some cosmatics added.
