This is the real Yacht Clubs. The only boats worth getting on are the ones that can defend you. This seems like an awesome club to hang out and share new designs at. Far better then fancy parties somewhere.

@marcoscarvalho660
@marcoscarvalho660 2 жыл бұрын

@@jorgesiqueira7331 even if we assume that Marcos guy did reply pejoratively doesn't necessarily mean being pejorative is wrong. I won't make a position whether Brazilian navy is wrong or not but the point is that experts don't always act as experts, they're just human beings after all that might fell to temptation to do certain things. There are times the experts, the authorities treat other people as if they were born yesterday. That's why other people react via mockery or sarcasm or pejoratives or the likes which is justified. Just saying ✌️

2:22 he could not even keep a straight face, when he lied to you. The USS Ford is on a very special limited deployment. The USS Ford CSG will not do a full deployment and it will only have 80% of a carrier air wing on it. The USS Ford CSG is under the direct command of the US Navy's Chef of Naval Operations, which I never heard of before in my life. Why would the USN do this... the only answer is to cover-up any failures within the USS Ford. I bet there will be a lot of failures, especially with the EMALS, just like what happened for the last 5 years. Usually, a USN CSG is under the command of whatever Fleet area it is within. The Fleet area is also under whatever Unified Combat Command area. So, the USS Ford CSG should have been under the 2nd Fleet area of command within Northern Command, when it was west of the mid Atlantic point. When the CSG passed the mid Atlantic moving toward Europe, then it should have changed to the 6th Fleet and European Command area. However, it is under the direct command of the highest ranking US Navy Admiral and thus bypasses the normal chain of command.

putting a ship under operation command may simply be due to the desire to collect data on it performance, as the 1st ship of it class, there are many unknown, operations will want to define what the limits are then to let the fleet push the ship themselves and causing problems. I do agree that Ford is facing alot of issue, they tried to change to many system and we really don't know how the different system will gel. we will see, with the chinese EMALS equipped carrier undergoing fitting out, Ford has some time ahead of it competition, they should at least reach operational status before the Fujian.
@willw8011
@willw8011 2 жыл бұрын
@@lagrangewei This is not supposed to be a test and evaluation exercise. The USS Ford had 5 years of test and evaluations. This is supposed to be the first deployment of the USS Ford in a CSG. Also, the Chef of Naval Operations is not within any procumbent or test or design department. The Chief of Naval Operations is the highest officer of the US Navy. This is a position on the Joint Chiefs of Staff. There are no other positions in the US Navy higher than the Chief of Naval Operations. It does not matter what China are doing. The USS Ford replaced the USS Enterprise, which was chopped up to remove the reactors. The old USS Enterprise is in a dry dock, because its hull is being kept for a photo opportunity with the new USS Enterprise currently being built. It is way too late to make changes on the next 3 Ford Class ships. HII is currently building 3 of the Ford class CVNs: USS JFK (fitting out), USS Enterprise (hull being assembled), and USS Doris Miller (steel being cut and components being built). In 2024, the USS Nimitz will be replaced by the USS JFK. BTW, due to mismanagement, the USN has 2 CVNs in midlife refit incapable of deployment. There should only be 1 in midlife refit at a time.

@maltekronschewski8097 2 жыл бұрын
What are you on about with F126 and F127? One is still in the design phase and the latter hasn't even started. As for the F125, it is a ship built to fulfill very specific mission requirements, which it does. The Navy received exactly what they asked for. By the way, F125 is loosely based on MEKO. That doesn't mean much.

@@christianjunghanel6724 Okay, was die F126 angeht hast du vollkommen recht.
