Lisa was 19 yrs older than Navarone and was reportedly really mean to him. When she was in her addiction she was cruel too. Lisa was no saint. Remember she temporarily lost custody of her children. Her ex said she was an addict and Lisa later admitted that She drank and cursed a lot too. Even Linda Thompson said Lisa cursed like a sailor. So Lisa was part of Navarone's trauma. It's not surprising they were estranged.

I can relate. My mother had me when she was 15 then later at 36 and I at 21 we were pregnant together. Have daughters 5 months apart. They grew up more like cousins vs aunt and niece. My sister was raised much different than rest of us. Not same mother at 18 as are almost 40. I don't think he is bad guy. Think he had a different mother than Lisa. Think Lisa was spoiled brat even more so after reading her book. She had houses all over the place. Poor little rich girl. She was so sad. She had no clue what like to have struggle pay a bill. She was a spoiled brat.

I happen to think if it wasn't for Priscilla, Elvis as big as he was wouldn't be as big as his legacy is today. I believe she nurtured that legacy for her child's sake and I would have done that very same thing. Priscilla isn't perfect, and neither was Elvis, and the only problem I have with their relationship is that she was too young when they met. He is my favorite singer, but a 14 year old girl should not be in the company of a 24 year old man. I don't care how talented, famous and good looking Elvis Presley was.
