Do you know what is usually good in mid October? Me and my dad have been trying to get a king when we go down by there for vacation but haven’t had any success ourselves, but it would be nice to know what we could realistically target in October

You can catch spanish , king , blue , yellow tail and Hardtail during mid October on the Navarre pier.

bring a rod that you can rig up a sabiki and catch live bait; you can catch kings, spanish, bonita and tarpon then

Coming to Navarre in mid July. Can you lend some pointers in targeting Spanish from the pier? We are staying in the condos beside the pier. We typically go to Perdido Key and surf fish all week. I use a 7ft med/heavy rod with a 3000 size reel when casting. My surf set up is heavier. Which would be best to use from the pier? And lures? I typically don’t venture off from using a Johnson sprite 1/2 oz spoon. Will I need to change it up?
