'Randall Wilson', Your depiction of Admiral K. is SPOT ON!!!! The weathered, unpainted, falling paint on the hull is something I haven't seen before!! And at first seeing your lower hull I was saying, ".. What is he doing painting it by hand??!!!" The Attention you give your rear quarters of the ship and the bracing under the catwalks make This Admiral K one of my favorites I have seen!!! I'm a model builder also, but deal with 700 scale, I would like to understand HOW did you get that upper/lower hull SO weather-out!! ( it looks as if I had got some Scotch tape and pulled the paint off {actually that has happened to me when I was younger!}) The use of PE just about makes your model look like the Admiral Keznetsov look like the pictures I would see in "Detail and Scale" !! But A/C????? Check out my small fleet of JMSDF DDH's, I just about finishing JS Kaga DDH-184 and adding IJN Kaga to post Both ships together. GREAT JOB!!

Hi mate ! it,s all hand painted , using acrylic model paints ,small brushes , the lower hull (below water line ) -varying shades of acrylic paint , finished of with artist oils

@@randall7766 I N C R E D I B L E!!! So, you are saying that you Hand-painted that Entire hull ( lower and upper hull below the FD )!! I imagine that you layered the artist oils on top of the acrylic paint job..... and the acrylic paint job was hand-painted was just roughly done..... That's nuts!! AND a Great Job.... I would like to ask more questions about that ... If I may. Thanks!!
