Trying my hand at loose translation of the drut bandish: chatur sughar balam mora (handsome, intelligent beloved of mine) bin dekhe na maane jiya mora (without seeing him my heart pines) badehi nidar manhar tum (such a fearless thief of hearts you are) nit jaavat sautan ghar (you keep going to the other woman's home) at hi kathin hai man tora (your heart is so hard (as if of stone))
