Yeah I agree, like I say in my livestreams, if you are just starting, putting sounds together and creating a good loop should be your focus. Arranging is an entirely different skillset

@@NavieD Most definitely! It even generated a very interesting but simple structure for me i.e Intro 1.1, chorus 1.1, chorus 1.2, chorus 1.3, chorus 1.3. I didn't know that was "legal". And next, it was a complex structure that needed more layers and therefore needed pushing more boundaries on my part.

I usually arrange the beat by how I feel . Even if I change it up over time . Sometimes the bass comes in with the intro . Sometimes not . Sometimes it’s hook before verse or swapped verse then hook . I tend to study other beats I dig and basically try to copy the structure while adjusting to my liking

I hear you. I think this will be useful if you just started and you don't want to worry about arranging when you can't put a good loop together. Also can provide a cool little challenge, forcing yourself to use sounds that it prescribes

Nice videos man, i subbed yesterday and your videos are really helpful, however, i do have a suggestion that might help you out a bit, put yourself in the thumbnails as well, i think it makes your video stand out more when people can see that it’s gonna have a facecam, myself i like to click on tutorials that i know will have facecam, makes it easier to follow through, feels like you are with the person teaching you haha

i would say no but don't just use this dependently as well, it would do you more justice to use this as a guide and also bro just listen to your favorite songs and listen to how they structure it that will help you more ps i have a tutorial to on how to structure very simply

Nope! The structure will stay the same (having said that, if you do huge jumps like going from double time to single time, then it will cause issues. But bumping it up or down a few BPM will be fine)

Yeah I agree. This tool is what you make of it really, some people will use it as a rough guide, others will use it to do the arranging for them if they just started making beats and arranging feels overwhelming

I think it can provide you with a good guideline as to what instruments to try and it takes arranging off your plate. In terms of genre, there are a bunch you can choose from so the choice is yours

That coud be a great educational tool really! Arrangement is one of the things that you can't really 'steal', i mean you can hear thousand songs with the same section arrangement (break, verse, drop etc.) and they won't sound anything alike. tho the specific instruments that it tells you to use should be a little bit more as a suggestion rather than a thing to blindly follow imo. anyways really great tool!
