I use the Navie D drum pack. You can find dem drums in the link above 👌😁 Yeah, but besides that, there are some web shops, that provide some packs for free.

The one thing that Navie D provides on a CONSISTENT basis is ideas and concepts, anyone can tell you to turn a knob and use a certain sound but Navie always goes the extra mile to ensure we get concepts drilled into our minds 😎 Here for the long run brother

Haha! I used this method a couple of days on a drum loop I got from splice and it brighten up and loop and brought it forward as well. It is amazing, how an added slap and three layers of finger snaps, can impact a simple drum loop. Now, I'm thinking of adding an extra layer of closed hi-hats, as I feel the ones embedded in the loop, are now lacking. Great tip Navie!

is it better to do the drums on channel rack or in piano roll?

I'd recommend the piano roll. You gain better control over pitches and note length more easily, unlike the channel rack (as well as all of the additional tools in the piano roll)
