Not being able to make stuff when you finally have the time to do it has to be one of the most frustrating things lol. All hail the Switch for getting us out of our heads 🫠

Yes, this is very relatable. Its so easy to feel guilty for not using every waking moment to push toward your craft, but that break time is so important.

I am might be late to this video, but burn out is so real! Mario Kart is a great way to reset lol. I love the artist way, it's so helpful to make you journal more.

Ahhh...yes. lol Okay so besides me supposed to be doing videos on KZbin (which is not this account, the name is the same as my IG lol), I'm still technically a freelance web designer. 😅 But on break to homeschooling, but I honestly needed it. Was just doing the client work, more times than not past 12am, and I didn't have much time for anything else. The closest break I had each year was Kawaii Kon. 😅 But other than that, I couldn't do anything creative, whether physical or digital media. Because if I wasn't working, I was taking care of our son. Eventually too I was having to drop my rates but doing the same work load to match "other rates", then drop them more and a chunk of the work was passed onto someone else, but somehow I was still just as busy? 🤔 I wasn't honest with myself and at the point of 🦠, I was burning out. My husband was like, it's not worth it or sustainable on myself. It was hard, but I looked at 🦠 happening and was like, this is the sign I needed to take a step back. And doing something for my son instead would also give me a chance to get back to my creative side. And that's when I found stationary to write to friends, and then planning. Through you guys! ❤ You were the first small business that really got me back into being creative. Through stickers and notepads, and eventually a planner. 🤗 You guys are the reason I'm in a better head space. ❤ And why my 💵 kept 💸 for some reason...🤔🤣 Super long winded to say, I can relate and thank you both for being yourselves. 🤗❤️
