Wow, your content is SO valuable!! I can't thank you enough... My supervisor barely remembers my theme of research, I'm doing the research brutally alone and this is very very hard. Even more because I don't have a grant or scholarship, have to pay tuition of the phd program and work part-time in a not related job, to provide for my two kids. I truly hope the universe gives you back all the good you are doing for others by sharing your knowledge for free, and in such an objective and kind way . Keep up the great work!

Hi Adriana, your comment has put a big smille on my face, so brace yourself with my lengthy response :) Kiddos to you for being resilient in caring for two children and working part-time during PhD research. I hope my videos will help you save time and feel more on top of this journey. I am so happy that my videos are putting my past academic experience into something of value to other researchers, and it is a pleasure to know how I could make the PhD process a little more supportive and motivating. In fact, the universe has been treating me well as I have grown a lot professionally this year. I started 2020 finding myself unemployed after 6th year of postdoc, and fast-forward to this year I have gained fulfillment in my role as a medical writer, I have both financial security and a friendly community in the pharma industry. This month, I just started a new position, so I need to settle in my new rhythm, and may have to slow down in my new video production speed! In case you are new to this platform, please feel free to view other videos (may be 1 video per coffee break), and leave questions. I do read and reply to every comment on the weekends, so I hope to see you around!

@@PhDCoffeeTime I´m happy for you, having a great job in a good environment, that makes us feel safe and happy enough to produce what we love it´s an amazing feeling! I´ve already been there, so I know how this feels great... Just facing an exceptional hard time, a kind of "two steps back in order to go further" in my career. Nothing that family and friends support, videos like yours and lots of good coffe can´t help to endure... Gonna watch your other videos for sure! Happy holidays! ☕☺😘

Can I sync my laptop version of Zotero to Research Rabbit? I'm having trouble but the online Zotero links are fine. Any input? This may make it easier to find primary sources as well.
@PhDCoffeeTime2 жыл бұрын
You can export a Zotero library to BibTex format and then import to Research Rabbit. Let me know if this works well for you!

Hi Leonardo, no I have not, I just checked out its webpage and it looks like a paid software? I could try it out using their free trial and make a comparison. Thanks for the idea! I am a fan of Research Rabbit because they promised to be free forever for researchers!

The problem is not finding a research gap, it is more to do with coming to terms it is worth pursuing for a long PhD programme and beyond perhaps.
