Nice vid, I got shocked by the fact you actually got into the water (and that there were other persons doing that) I could never in my life get into that cold water...and even less in autumn at the south of the country. Please be really careful with the idea of helping people with money, here in Argentina we have many social programs for the poor, food is cheap, it;s hard to suffer hunger, don't missunderstand me please, I like the idea and I get to help a lot of people too, but it's hard to not fall for a scamm or for someone who just want to get some substance hehe I know you are a wise man btw

Great video again. Those animals were coyotes. After hunting them. The ranchers tie them to the fences as a warning sign to other coyotes.

Those are coyotes. It’s an old superstition that you hang them on your fence to scare the other ones and keep them off your property so they don’t kill your livestock! That same superstition also exists in the US!

Hey Ryan, love the channel and what you're doing. Traveling in a Tuk-Tuk sounds like a blast. Saw that they have them with doors up in Peru, Ecuador and Colombia! Patti is obviously a very good doggo and very sweet. She obeys you very well. Good idea about helping out others with the extra money. We lived in Mexico for over 2 years and all the Ex patriots advised us to never flash money in public. They even advised my wife not to wear fancy jewelry in public. Yes, the vast majority of the people were wonderful and helpful but there are others that are looking to rip you off. Please be careful, it wouldn't hurt to mention you no longer carry large sums of money with you. We really enjoy the camera shot out the window and watching Patti sticking her nose out to see where you are going. What a blast. Ok, cant wait for the next video.

Also. You said you're a first time dog owner right? Be careful with making Patti run too much, especially in the heat. If she wants to while you're still that's fine. But is following or leading you in the tuk tuk they'll want to keep it up FOR YOU. They don't sweat, they just get hot. I've seen a dog have a heart attack because it's owner was thinking "well! she looks happy!" and kept having her walk under the hot sun with him! . If she's panting with her tongue out and breathing fast short breaths, that's too much and obviously she'll need that much more sleep that day. You need to do little bits at a time. Sorry, I worry because I see how focused you are on your goal. Maybe I shouldn't. It's just that I've traveled with my dog before. Heat, exhaustion and sleep are serious issues for them. They're "revved" higher than us.

I mentioned it before; THEY WILL STEAL HER, if a crook sees he can, they will steal her because she looks like an expensive breed dog, and they can get money for her. I'm only telling you this again because I know if that happens you will be completely heartbroken and it will ruin your whole trip, possibly making you go back to Australia hating South America for the rest of your life. - slow down. Just keep her always with you. DON'T LEAVE HER ALOE IN THE CAR. If people say anything, just ask if they'd let her wait inside somewhere out of the way. The usually will.

Agreed, on so many levels. NEVER leave a dog unattended in a tuktuk, car, or whatever. I live in Japan where the crime rate is extremely low and everyone thinks it's so safe that they tie their dogs to a post while they go in the supermarket. NEVER do that! A few weeks ago I saw a flyer in front of the supermarket saying "lost dog, stolen from the front of this supermarket."
