Our only RC cruise was on Navigator. Our bed was a zero.....the worst we have ever had. Aside from that, Navigator was AMAZING!!! Food was a 10, the shows and entertainment were off the charts!!! The Staff was the best and we LOVED Navigator.

Ok, I've just watched this video after watching your ship tour from Navigator. One thing that's so clear is that they seem to have crushed so many of the venues from the big Oasis class ships onto here too - I'm so impressed that they still have the ice shows, and so many other similar venues, despite the ship being so much smaller. Thanks for putting this one together - you've helped settle me for later this year!

Thanks for watching Fraser! We agree, she impressed us too! Navigator does not feel like a ship that's more than two decades old, she is actually surprisingly modern. So much to do onboard, and it's always nice being able to walk on the bow as you come into/or depart port. Hope you have a fantastic time :)

This was the total oposite experience I had at the MDR. I would say it was some of the best food I had in forever. Really great food and always hot and fresh. Maybe u just got unlucky or I got lucky with the kitchen staff and servers. Befriend your server and they will go out of their way to make sure u get always the best and freshest food

For an older class of ship in the RC Fleet, she really is holding up very well. Cabins to me still look very nice compared to some other older ships. We would defiantly try this ship, just wish it sailed from closer ports now and again. Great video and very well put together as always

The drink packages are ridiculous, the Americans think they are "awesome" value though. The soda package is okay though, that's all we take out with Royal Caribbean!

I disagree about the food in Main Dining. I just cruised on this ship a couple weeks ago, and I find the food in main dining to be wonderful, and also the service was as well.

Hi, will be on Navigator next week. Didn't purchase a specialty dining package but we plan on having dinner at Izumi for one of the nights. Are you able to reserve once we're on the ship? Or is it only available to people who have a specialty dining package?

Hey Abby, you don’t need a package to dine at Izumi, and you can book once onboard, however we would suggest try booking though the app before embarking to make sure you defiantly get a space, or book as soon as you get onboard as it books up quickly! Happy cruising! ☺️

Ok here’s my dilemma. I’m on the Westcoast from Los Angeles. I want to take a Royal Carribbean cruise for the first time. I’m tempted to go on navigator but I REALLY wanna sail ICON. I feel like if I book navigator it’ll ruin my cruise appetite and I won’t wanna go on ICON anymore. Also my wife has never been on a cruise and you only get 1 time to make a good first impression. If she doesn’t like cruising on navigator it’ll be difficult to convince her to go on Icon. Any advice?

Hey guys! Navigator was one of our favourite crusies, so we would defiantly recommend her! As for Icon, she will be more expensive and have bigger crowds, so it would all depend on what you want to get from a cruise, such as destination focused, more facilities on board, a some what quieter experience? We don’t think you’d loose an appetite from sailing on navigator, if anything it would give you the cruising bug and want to try more ships (even bigger ships like Icon!) 😊

I've heard the same review about Jamie's. I wish they would replace it with something like Buddy V's in Vegas. Italian comfort food and non-pretentious. Sad to hear about the MDR. What entrees would you recommend in the MDR that weren't terribly awful?

I’m so sad to hear that the main dining room food isn’t a great as I’m hoping. I’m taking my mom on a first cruise in a couple weeks on the Navigator and that’s what she’s looking forward to, especially to dress up. Hoping we get better food served. 😊

I sailed on navigator when I was 5 years old in 2006! Wow long time ago. I remember we were on deck 2 in a porthole room. I don’t think passengers can go lower than deck 2 haha. The ship felt so huge to me

That’s your opinion! The food was slop on our cruise - and ranked very low against the likes of Celebrity, Holland America and Princess.

We just sailed Navigator this month and the food in main dining was so bad! We are going on our second cruise in January and purchased the Ultimate Dining package. We will not be main dining at all on that cruise 😅

Great review, glad they have not changed johnny rockets to have vegan, as you can get that option elsewhere. We have never had any issues on Indy in the main dinning or windjammer, but Anthem was a terrible dinning experience when we were on back in 2015 when she started sailing, we ended up using windjammer all the time, and would never go back on Anthem again after the terrible dinning experience. Not been on Navigator yet, only Indy three times, Anthem once and Explorer once, the drink packages are a joke I couldn't drink $105 a day, only had the drinks package once and that was because on Anthem it was part of the package when we booked the cruise, if memory serves it was only soda and beers and no spirits, even then only had a few pints a day and lots of cola from various machines, as my wife doesn't drink maybe a glass of wine with dinner, but that's it. The fact they want EVERYONE in the same cabin to take out the package is a joke.

The drink package is overpriced unless you plan to drink a lot for the entire cruise. Was not worth it to the wife and I in our being in our 40's but might be a good value to some partiers in there 20's. I would not be able to function drinking as much as you need to get the ROI of the drink package.

I was just on this ship with my family. Huge disappointment! Overcrowded! Below average food! Very few food options. Boring! So disappointing. Waste of money. $8k down the drain. This guy reviewing the ship obviously works for them or gets a kick back. Terrible ship!

I just went on my first cruise a couple weeks ago on Navigator and loved it. The only thing I didn't like was any of the complimentary food. Already sailing on Navigator again in January but doing Specialty dining every day
