I got to meet Martina for her autograph at an exhibition match a jillion years ago in Seattle and she was SO nice!! Just a wonderful and warm person. Love her and Chris too, fantastic women. :)

Two all time great women have never shared so much their careers and lives. they are incredibly comfortable with each other, their victories and losses. There is no parallel in sport for this.

Chris and Martina changed women's tennis for the better. There has never been a rivalry in any sport that will ever compare to these amazing women. For me, being world number 1 and gay and all the issues that she had to deal with almost on a daily basis and STILL play amazing tennis at the level she did and for so long, makes Martina the GOAT. It's not only about how many Grand Slams a player wins but if you take EVERYTHING into consideration, singles, doubles and mixed doubles along with what I've just said about being constantly followed by the media, reporters being staked out at her door, going through her bins etc., following her to charity events to name just a few of the things she had to deal with yet produce the level of tennis that she did, I don't think any other player could have handled that constant pressure. You only need to look at some of her stats in singles, doubles and mixed and the records that she still holds to see just what an incredible player she was. She is quite simply an Icon and Living Legend and I have had the privilege and honour to see her play at Wimbledon her "tennis home" which she graced with class, flair, determination, sheer guts and passion and some of the greatest tennis ever seen on that hallowed turf.
