Oh my favorite area or idea was the grandparents memorial table, please allow me to use it this September. My daughter's grandparents are all at rest and her fiancee maternal grandparents are, that's going to be a beautiful touch🥰thank you so much I feel like I can stop watching other videos now. Wow!!! So much work went into that to make it so beautiful!! I love the backboards on the desert tables and how you used the flowers.The sashes on the chairs, the head tables, the navy sign, everything is just amazing. And the grandparents pictures! I really loved that picture frame that you made into a tray!! I have that same picture frame and it looks so amazing as a tray---what creativity! Some things I didn't understand, like the bride and groom holding area?

Thanks so much for all your compliments! The holding area is where the couple goes while guests are in cocktail hour. They sign the marriage papers and wait to be announced to their guests at the reception as Mr & Mrs. They can relax a little and regroup before the party starts. It's great that more venues are offering that little getaway space now.

Thanks so much for sharing. I'm stating this lengthy comment because it may help someone. My baby girl got engaged November 2022, shortly after New Year they told his parents, me and close family members to save the date, September 2023! I told her my budget is $5000 or less periodt🤭. They've decided upon their colors because I told them I can't brainstorm without visual colors and theme,(they're entrusting me to decorate, 5 years ago I did her oldest sister's venue, one more daughter to go!) they decided on a shade of blue, a shade of purple and pinks, tablecloths ivory and build from there(they showed me a picture last week). They changed the color to this videos colors and burgundy with a Beauty and the Beast fairytale theme. Her cousin was married at a venue on the lake(American Legion) when she was about 5, she told me she thought one day she would love to get married and have her reception there. I was hesitant because it was a nice, reasonably priced venue 20 years ago but times have changed and I know it had columns(something she doesn't care for). We went to view the venue day before yesterday, I was shocked, she literally danced a dance of joy in front of the lady who gave us the tour(I was overjoyed within at her happiness), they have a downstairs area that hold up to 150 and upstairs ballroom for $500 more that holds up to 300 and no columns (I had never seen the upstairs, though over the years I've been there about 5 times).We got the application, she filled it out and we returned it yesterday(I returned with her cause she needed my bank card to pay the deposit to save the date 😆, I've decided to make a payment every month up to August to keep my funds free for other things and because I'm on a budget). I stated all that for 1. I'm filled with joy for my baby cause she's getting a dream come true and 2. to state have an open mind just because you think a place may not be ideal or too expensive you don't know until you check it out and see and 3. it's okay to ask for help. Her fiancee mother is a caterer and she's taking care of the reception (ceremony and reception will be in the same ballroom). Oh by the way, the venue cost $2300, 25% discount if a honorable discharged close family member joins for a year@$55(if you look into using an American Legion as a venue ask about the discount, it may be different at different post) we asked her godfather, he told her this is one of her wedding gifts, (we paid the $55 for him, it's the least we could do), he gets to attend the functions there for a year, we save $575! and get a beautiful space upstairs on the lake with a pier and dock where the guest can socialize during the cocktail hour (which will be 30 minutes while they finish up their after look photos). Wow thanks for your response. Some people seem to think 2 weeks is advance notice. I advise that I don't do last minute and basically my work is balloons but since it's not a full business, I need time to order in advance to go with what I may have at home. Thanks again
