Sierra, My name is Robert. Retired Senior Chief and former Company Commander which I've learned is now referred to as a RDC. I'm helping a delayed-entry female prepare for Bootcamp, by teaching her Facing Movements, Marching, Navy Terminology, Attention to Detail, the whole enchilada. Much has changed since the days I wore a Red Rope so I've been researching everything I can find on the net to bring myself up to speed. The worst thing I could do is teach her something outdated which she would have to un-learn when she reports to RTC. I pushed Male Only companies, now referred to as divisions. You, and 2 other females who are also posting videos about RTC have been very helpful for me to learn current terminologies but also giving me a prospective from a female point of view. I'm sure you have better things to do than respond to an old broken down Senior Chief, answer questions about bootcamp but if you have time could you at least address one issue? How to lace boots. The check-points used to be Right over Left as you view the boot on you foot and No Bridge at the bottom. Bridge meaning that the shoe lace must thread through the bottom eyelets from the underside. Is this still the correct procedure taught in today's bootcamp?

I am interested in the Marines and Navy because the reason why the Navy is because you learn great skills and as of seamen ship skills and that’s what I like and also learning about weapons. And for the Marines I definitely wanna earn something and be apart of something that is bigger than me and don’t want any thing that is given to me and going through stuff obstacles and yes I wanna do a combat job

Hey Sierra, I just wanted to take the time to come on here and say thank you so much for all your helpful video tips about meps. You and your sis videos was so helpful. I had everyone calling the bra and granny part the underwear Olympics lol. But yea Because of them I PASSED my physical yesterday. im just waiting on my tattoo waiver to get approved for the tattoo behind ny ear praying it only takes a few week's. Then i can go back and Pick my job/find out my leave date for bootcamp and swear in 😊😊 so yea big thanks from Houston girlie!
